I haven't played the demo yet, but seeing how cheap you can buy it on the internet i can't see it being a let down. It would be nice to see it on release day, but im not going to build my hopes up.

No but i got up to ultra kill with the tank.

Its a shame that it doesnt do the M..O..N..S..T..E..R kill voice like in the original, that rocked.

I thought it was a too restricted game; no atory, just run and shoot. But playing the demo online yesterday changed my opinion - this game is great, just perfect if you want a 10 minute break from work or whatever. It's also virtually guaranteed that you will kill someone at least once, given the nature of the game.

Anyone had a double kill here by the way, using the default rifle gun? I somehow managed it. T'was cool. And headshots... yessss

Can't wait to mod some levels, what with the Easter break coming up.

Cant say about multi-player but the single player is not brilliant due to stupid bots. The bots really do let down single player as its no fun, as they dont share vehicles, if you do get into a vehicle not many will actually join you, if you manage to get in a helicopter which is controlled by a bot they just fly in circles.

Levels are ok and having vehicles is pretty good, but UT2004 has more vehicles which are easier to control. 14 levels on BFV compared to over 100 on UT2004. 2 of those 14 levels are repeats anyway, so only 12 different levels. UT2004 has more choice in the types of games as well.

If your a fan of BF1942 then you will like this one, if your not a fan then I dont think this will be a game you will enjoy. I wasnt a big fan of BF1942, and I am not a big fan of this. I suppose not playing multiplayer online might affect my view, but I still feel that you sometimes feel lonely in the game and if you havent got a vehicle the levels feel too big and to slow to actually do anything.

Doesn't hate my ATI card, running at 1280x(I think) 1024 with maxed settings and not one stutter, and this is on the demo version.

I wish EA would release a Battlefield Vietnam demo because I only downloaded UT 2004 demo out of bored interest and it's the first PC online game that's really held my attention, I'm going to buy it next week. Is Battelfield Vietnam just as good?

Its out of stock. So check the site and see what your order says, as mine says "awaiting stock". I ordered March 1st so I would have thought I would have got a copy, but at the price there selling it at you cant blame them from being out of stock.

Same here, but it turns out rather than ordering the games before they are released, ImportMadness gets them in after it. It's the only way I can explain why my game is still pending, something to do with the 5-7 days it takes to ship from America I guess. Still I've got Battlefield Vietnam with me now, so I at least have something to play while I wait.
