I have'nt tryed it yet i've had a look at the map and the pics on the back exciting stuff.
well i'm off round my mates house for the weekend for Beer /Girls and sleepless nights (due to playing goty although girls help as well Lmao)
Other than that, if a trader has stuff I want, I'll usually buy it from them, then while they have my extra money I've added on, I'll sell my stuff and get the money back on it. ;-)
Hopefully I'll find exactly where that Mudcrab is sometime (gotta be careful not to kill him). Is he roaming around the forest and stuff ? Or is he actually in a town like the creeper ? Be so much easier if hes in a town.
As for the killing - I'm not murdering tons of people. I'm basically picking my fights as they come. I wiped out the Commona Tong lot inside the council club in Balmora once I had the names for the guard at Moonmoth. Basically I got the idea that I was supposed to take care of things - so I did. Of course it looks like I cut the sidequest short, but I just dealt with the problem sooner than originally intended. Found the other 2 of the group on the roof of the council club eventually, but they're still alive. Killed the trader in Balmora and claimed his house as my own for when I need to stop in town - seeing as most of my important contacts are in Balmora.
I killed the guards at the Dren plantation as I freed the slaves there, also killed a few house members who attacked me for pickpocketing and killed the ones surrounding the guy in the Vivec bar who you need to take to the bookshop to get info for the spy.
Basically, I try to be civil, but I'm happy to offer violence when someone gets on my rag - kinda like real life. :-)
Soul gems are tricky. Especially very expensive ones. It's hard to find somebody who actually wants it, and can give you your wanted price. As Black Glove says, there's a Mudcrab and a Creeper in the game who'll buy things off you for full price but hold a limited amount of gold. There's a complicated way to get around this - meaning you can sell anything of any value - but I won't go into it now. You could probably figure it out yourself, anyway.

Morrowind isn't as good as OOT, but I'd say it's probably better than WW.
What I love most about this game is the freedom to be whatever you want. I started with high stats on certain areas, but after a little while, I actually enjoyed areas my character wasn't good at. But thanks to the freedom in the game, even though its taken more training to get the stats up, I'm getting really good at the things I wanna do. I'm a pretty good thief now, plus I like the conjuring side of magic - summoning undead to help me in fights and stuff. ;-)
I'm rated pretty high at alchemy, but its not something I've pursued because I don't want to and its nice not to be forced into areas you're not interested in.
I started off using heavy armour, but now I prefer medium armour - plus my character doesn't look so gay now. Look pretty cool. :-)
So yeah, my interests at the moment in the game are raiding tombs for artifacts, robbing the stupid noble houses and then selling the stuff for profit - and murdering the crime syndicate that wants to wipe out the thieves guild.
I'm doing the main part as well, but at the moment my main loyalties are with the thieves guild - much more fun. ;-)
Excellent stuff. :-)

brilliance. absolute brilliance.
I once tried to kill everyone in the fighters guild and yes, i failed. badly. ;)

There's a creeper in Garnok Manor (sp) in Caldera who'll buy stuff up to 5,000 gold.
And there's a mudcrap who'll buy stuff up to 10,000 somewhere on the Azure Coast, but I've never found it.
They are the only two characters in the game who'll buy for big money. So unfortunately you won't get its full (or even half) its value.
