Yes Dringo you have a point we do ask for alot, but what you must understand (and i'm sure you do) is that we actually DESERVE to get something free back from Nintendo and it isn't alot to ask, really is it?

I at the moment am extremely annoyed by the way they are treating us, i might be wrong but didn't they update the Stars Catalogue at around 8:00am in the morning? on March 4th? i read Cube-europes website quickly at 8:50am (before i had to go to collage) and they had stated the stars catalogue has already been updated and most of the stuff was 'Out Of Stock' I'm sorry but most of us have jobs or go to collage and cannot be on there wesbite 24/7, congratulations to the people who did get something mind as your a true Nintendo fan if your on there website that early on in the morning.

Also the amounts they put up are stupid, the wesbite is for UK and Ireland for christ sakes, it's not alot to ask to put 1000 of the Mario Kart DD keyrings is it (or did they)? I was also annoyed to see that other European websites have better games like 'Eternal Darkness' and 'Metroid Fusion' on there with quantities so that more then 10 people can get what they want!

I've also had trouble with the 'Stars Catalogue' before as i entered it around 4 months ago. There was about 13 Mario Posters left (which in my opinion is one of the best prizes), as i quickly clicked on it and went through the whole process, i got to the end to be told they were 'Sold Out', and even i know i was so quick that no-one would of got 13 before me... I rang up the Nintendo Support center to be told 'The website doesn't update quick enough, it updates every 20 minutes' i'm hoping this has changed because if there's 10 of an item left it doesn't mean you can get it! It's terrible.

I know you don't buy a Nintendo Game just for the stars, but after spending so much money with them and remaining a fan after all of the trouble of for example 'Waiting for games to arrive in the UK' 'Stopping Import shops from selling Import Games' 'Doing Great Offers in the USA and Japan' it does make you think they are letting us down just a bit. They seem to forget that without us, they'll be nothing (Well Nintendo Of Europe Anyway)

Anyway, this is just HOW I FEEL about the company (at the moment) they'll still be my best games developer truly because they make the best games, other then that, they haven't got a clue about 'Customer care' etc in Europe.. Don't know if any of you feel the same way... :)

Nintendo only have a limited supply of what they have... they use games such as Rayman 3 or other GBA titles, they stick up GBA players, Zelda discs etc... there was around 230 items avalible to actually own on there this time around.

Nintendo then get another load in and stick them up... they go... they stick more up... they go. It isn't their fault they can't meet the demand, they never intended it to be this popular... for crying out loud they had around 1000 Collector editions in november and they went in a day...

They are giving free gifts away and we moan...

I'm fed up of the moaning, we want, we need, we want more... it's all i hear from all of you.

If you don't like it go away.

My complaints about the free gifts are the facts that ones that I do want, aren't available.

Why?

Because Nintendo stick approximately 12 as allocated Stars stock and therefore make them only available to a small minority of members.

If Nintendo just hadn't bothered with a reward scheme at all, I would be happy. I wouldn't know what I'm missing.

But when I get an email that the catalogue has been updated - and the same minute I recieve the email I go straight there and find anything decent already being out of stock, it makes me wonder why they bothered in the first place.

That's what angers me. I have almost 10,000 stars and there's nothing to spend them on.

I'm not gonna complain about the amount of stars needed to 'buy' the gifts, I'm not gonna even complain about the gifts that WERE offered to the first 12 who managed to see them. It's the fact that they don't have a large enough quantity for long term Nintendo fans like myself to even get a chance of getting any of these gifts.

It's a joke!

I got a free Collector's Edition from buying a few Nintendo products and registering the VIP codes. Why all the complaining? You're not forced to used them, and the free gifts aren't that bad.

What did I just say?

They're NOT giving us free gifts.

They're giving a very small minority the odd gift, but if you aren't one of the very first to see that gifts are available, you may as well not bother.

By no means do I want Nintendo to stop giving away free gifts...I want them to start giving away free gifts.

Erm because Sony and Microsoft have bucketfuls of cash and are certain of their continued success?

The point is that if you offer a promotion you should have the resources to back it up or not bother.

And if everyone did that then Nintendo might as well close down their European operation all together...

Yes ins**tead of trying to rectify the problem after people spend hundreds of pounds suporting them only to get a sh*t screensaver in return, lets jus**t come along and tell the people who keep our company running to shut up and sod off. Ins**tead of taking the critisism and trying to alter whats going wrong they seem to be brushing it aside. I would rather they didn't bother at all. The Zelda collectors disc and the two GBA games are the only decent things I have seen on there since they s**tarted the scheme.
