The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.
I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.
If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.
Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

Right, the xbox has arrived back from its holiday to the repair centre in Germany and I've changed my LoveFilm package to include games again so stand back and watch my score fly up.... 10 points at a time!!!
Things are going to pick up now. Finished all the Hitman missions on Saints Row for 10 points. Should be progressing a little quicker now.
15 on FFXIII
175 on G-Force.
Have a copy of Fairy Tale Fights at home waiting for me to start...although wanting to go on FFXIII!

I have been lagging on gaming and Achievement hunting, playing RPG's which are not good for this kind of thing!
Another 30 points to add to the total. I went round and did a bit of collecting tonight as one of the targets that I was supposed to bump off didn't show anywhere.
555 on Dirt 2 now
More persistant than I would be! It is a nightmare for points that one!
Dirt 2, well I go through stints of playing it. I find it gets quite repetitve after a while. Very unsure about the online side of things when it comes to team racing - I was on my own against a team of 4 level 100+ yesterday. needless to say, I stood little chance.
As for the idea of dangerous and aggressive drivers being highlighted on the lobby screen through the traffic light system is good, I find I can drive normal, someone crashes violently into me, causing every otehr driver to crash into me and I seem to get penalised for it - even though I did my best to avoid the inital accident.
I do like the game though. Trying to reach online level 30 before finishing off the single-player campaign. Nearly 700 points from it so far, so it would be nice to get a bit more from it! If you see me online, send me a message and I'll try a jam session (there is an online achievement for racing in all disciplines - one only available in the deserted jam session server :p)

What do you think of Dirt 2 HM? Im thoroughly enjoying it, might even keep it long enough to get all the possible gs out of it :)
