The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.

I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.

If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.

Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

LAST UPDATE - gr13ve - 8 games - 695 points

Okay, I did a little bit more racing on Grid. Picked up 85 more points. I also tried my hand at some of the drifting in the game as there are achievements to be had. I found out (something I already knew) that I'm no good at drifting.

I thought it would be different. Where has Black8704 gone? He worked with you, didn't he? Remember playing FIFA09 with him a lot.

Haha Game Hunter, i remember Black8704 (remember him?) bought a game from that series and said it was fun for like 10 minutes and that was about it.

I may give that a look.

Another 90 points from Fairy Tale Fights. Graphics aren't up to much and the gameplay is just tricky, but for some reason it feels addictive (maybe because I'm a bit sick and the sight of Lil' Red Riding Hood decapitating the wolf with scythe, causing the screen to be filled with blood is something I'm finding relatively entertaining). I am about half way through now, so should get that back in the post tonight.

Then on to Cabela's Game Hunter. Oh, and FF13 if there is time ;)

Keep going back and forward on deciding if i should send Saboteur back, its a good game and if you like GTA then i think you will really like it. But more of a serious game that takes time and effort.

Thinking of going for something fun to pick up for 30 mins and gain some Achievements. But then i do like the game and if i send it back, it will prob be gone forever.....

That sounds like a good one for the challenge!

Playing Fairytale Fights (as you probably can see) - its a bit rubbish, but entertaining to see your fairy tales all gored up! 90 points so far!

Thanks, I try my best. With the single player of Saints Row finished, I've moved onto Race Driver Grid. It's been a while since I played it so I went for a few of the silly achievements like doing a 360 and winning. Picked up a quickfire 100 points.

Well, it has taken over 50 hours but that is the single player part of Saints Row finished. Got all the single player achievements and saw the end of the game.

I guess that is why the achievements are there - to put in 50 hours because if they weren't there, you could easily finish the game in 10 hours or less.

After about 30 hours or so, I just wanted to get on and finish it, which is why I spent a few late nights finishing it off. Just got the multiplayer achievements left, which will take a while.

50 points to add to the total after tonight.
