The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.

I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.

If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.

Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

LAST UPDATE - gr13ve - 8 games - 695 points

Well got about 4 Trophies on FF13, but no more Achievements for a while, RPG's are hindering my progress lol. But i should have the internet at Home soon and that will inspire me to get back online and get some!

I've been gathering some points on Saw and Bionic Commando but I'll wait till I'm done before posting my total. Saw seems quite keen on throwing achievements at me, I got the best part of 400 points on my first session with it.

Awesome stuff GP!

I only managed 30 points this weekend and that was on FFXIII. Sadly didn't have too much time to play on the 360.

Hopefully tonight I will get a few more points from it and complete the campaign on Toy Soldiers (for at least another 30 points)

Yeah, I was aware of that but thanks for the heads up anyway.

Inching ever closer to the end of the single player story. Almost been playing it for 50 hours now. Also picked up another 40 points.

EDIT - And there it is at 3am in the morning. The big payload. 380 points. Still got a few minor single player achievements to go but the main part is done now.

Just a little warning incase you haven't heard, once you complete single player there's no going back so I'd keep a couple of game saves on the go.

In other news, not a single point for me over the whole weekend! Serious slacking, get to try out APB tonight from 8-10 in the closed beta so cant see me getting a chance to play the xbox.

Getting closer and closer to the end of the single player on Saints Row. Sitting on about 70% complete now. Also picked up 60 points.

Still got a few silly single player achievements to get like blowing up helicopters and stealing boxes but I don't think it will take too long. I think the longest one to get will be the $1 million achievement. Haven't even got 400k yet.

Thanks to a guy from New Zealand, I finished Sega Rally. I also got some points on Saints Row so that is 100 points in total tonight.

I have been on the Ps3 much more lately so i guess my scores have been slacking. Need to pick it up again. Might have to send Saboteur back as it is too much or a sit and play game like an RPG, whereas getting like SEGA rcers could prove more fun....

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Many thanks!!
Registered my website with Freeola Sites on Tuesday. Now have full and comprehensive Google coverage for my site. Great stuff!!
