Ugh stop overrating GTA before UT2004 and Far cry no way does it deserve a priority.
UT 2004 and Far Cry will keep you busy for a while, both offer an amazing amount of content and should fulfil your gaming needs long into year.
If you like stategy games then Command & Conquer of some sort and Warcraft 3 are needed.
Go for Far Cry, if you've got a beefy system, could be game of the year it's that good!
