I am sorry but I have had it up to here (er-yes points to the sky) with people praising this game!

I like it yes, well done Sony. Its a good game, but it has major flaws and should be called GT2.2! If Sony were to release this game on the Playstation people would be in uproar, only the graphics save it from being any different to its predescessor and the fact it has 450 less cars to choose from.

Come to think of it, it more of a show off from Sony to display the Playstation 2's graphic and visual abilities.

'Oh look at the amazing sunglare effect' the man in the shop said to a customer.

'Oh well lets not play the game and look at the sun, shall we? Doffus!' I muttered.

Its not that special come to think of it. It is a great racer, but it has the same nice cars GT2 had (but less), its still got the same great control, and a great game length, infact it even has some of the same courses.

One whole year ago a game called Metropolis Street Racer was released onto a console which is no longer being made, it had practically the same or better visuals, a better progression system and overall was a better game. Yet it was completely overlooked by most and was left to only selling moderately well!

Don't get me wrong, I love the way Sony have gotten away with it, and yes its a great game, but its not worth buying a console for (a £300 console), it still has the same dodgy damage system and the oppenents still feel so computerised (so much for the chip), oh, and when the wheel does work its nice and easy..

Sony are claiming that GT3 is the fastest ever selling game, I claim it to be the fastest selling ever upgrade!

Seriously, visuals have taken over! Gone is good gameplay. Thank God for the GB Advance!

'I spit in Sony's eye and it fizz!'

People who buy a console for one game are stupid. 'Nuff said.

GT3 is an amazing game, is has it's drawback, which some people do miss, but on the whole, it's a good addition to the series. Why??

Well it's a stop gap. The creator of the game wants to incorporate on-line abilities into his work, but with the online ability of the PS2 more than a year away when production began, they needed a killer PS2 game, and they needed it sooner than the on-line revoltuion can bring.

Sure you can call it GT2000, GT2.5 or even GT3, but it is no more than GT show off PS2 with a very good driving game. Gran Tourismo Network has already been announced as a future title and will involve challenges, races and tournaments on-line as well as possibly a garage to buy and sell cars and parts from other people.

If this is the future of the GT series on the PS2, then I'm quite happy to play through the callenging GT3, with the first ever console Force Feedback steering wheel and have an experience unavailabe on any other console right now (if I ever get one which will work).

So until then, happy racing.

Red Faction was not heard of a year ago by many!

Well that was

Not the only main game. Try ZOE, StarFighter, Extermination, Red Faction and many more.

Okay, a good game

Now how come I can never say that sort of thing??

I wish I could write like that in support of the PS2, I just never seem to say the right things!

Anyway, well done Wookiee, I agree very much so.

GT3 does show the PS2's capabilities but the sleek black magic box is still awaiting something to really kick it into gear.

Devil May cry should do this perfectly

I can't really argue with that although even with those sleek graphics, it doesn't deserve this much hype and raving.
