For the Sony one I intend to use those difficult little tests to upgrade your licence in Gran Turismo 3. They only take about 30 seconds each and you can repeat them in fast order. they are timed to 1000th of a second so they fit the bill nicely.
For the Nintendo competition I need to find something "compact" on a N64 game, which can be measured and possibly saved. Does such a thing exist? Could I have your suggestions please?
As the N64 prize (in the shops) is likely to be a Game Cube plus game, it would be nice if the game used on the N64 "tied in" with one of the launch titles on the Game Cube.
Thanks in advance.

It should be Diidy Kong Racing, to tie in with Donkey Kong racing!
Or the fastest time on the first level of Rogue Squadron, the fastest I've doe it is under 40 seconds!
PS: SR, dont advertise thisa anywhere except the net then, it wont take up as much of your time, as we will be the only ones entering. And of course the people in the shop that day. DONT EVEN PUT A SIGN OUTSIDE!!
TheBest: Desperate for a GameCube.

The N64 game could be:
Super smash bro's.....and if you win you get gamecube and super smash bro's milee...the task could be a multiplayer one every one gets a four player game in which they have to stay alive/win the game in under 3 minutes the fastest time win's the prize.
Rambi's Rampage on DK64 takes a minute, and is

That is actually the best suggestion so far.
It's quick, fun, you get recorded scores and it coincides perfectly with the Gamecube release of Donley Kong Racing.
Well done Meka.
There's the little mini games to play or you could get a Smash Brothers Champ from your staff.
The winner is the one who gets the most points over this player in one on one matches.
64 finalists could be called for a knock out tournament.
Each around consists of 3 battles between 4 players on random levels.
Whoever out of the 4 accumalates the most points over the 3 battles goes to the next round.
There will be 16 quater final rounds.
Then there will be 4 semi final rounds.
Then there can be the final round between the 4 players.
I'm not sure if people will have time to hang around long enough to wait for 16 x 3 = 48 battles before their next match.
Make the player pick Luigi, as he'll be in Luigis Mansion...
If you really want to know the names of games I think would be suitable from Mario Party 2, I can look them up, but I shalln't bother if you're not likely to consider it! ;-)
Mario Golf same thing
Perfect Dark Target practice- e.g. how quickly can you get a certain score using a certain gun
I think that'll do.
Concentrate on Sony, where you have enough class games to make hundreds of competitions.

Ant: Constantly starting console wars.
Maybe a little too long though.
