For the Sony one I intend to use those difficult little tests to upgrade your licence in Gran Turismo 3. They only take about 30 seconds each and you can repeat them in fast order. they are timed to 1000th of a second so they fit the bill nicely.
For the Nintendo competition I need to find something "compact" on a N64 game, which can be measured and possibly saved. Does such a thing exist? Could I have your suggestions please?
As the N64 prize (in the shops) is likely to be a Game Cube plus game, it would be nice if the game used on the N64 "tied in" with one of the launch titles on the Game Cube.
Thanks in advance.

Well i own F-zero but not Mario Kart, it works both ways. And iam very skilled at death race.

The great thing about the Death Race is more practise equals a better time... and also the best person in the world at the game might fall of the track leaving the 1st place wide open!
Its that damn good! And Mario Kart is too slow!
:D
No matter, I will win anyway!
**cough cough** FZero **cough cough**
A suttle hint there er-no, i and have to say again that i whole heartedly agree, Mario Kart is useless as even the quickest course takes over 1'40, F-zero death race is by far the quickest option and more people probably own that than they do Mario Kart.

My point is that there is not a Mario Kart GameCube game (because of DKR), and Mario Kart 64 is old and wasn't really a great game!

WaveRace is not a good idea, only four racers to choose from and the time is too close, FZeroX is practise and people can actually improve apon their times.. its a much better choice.
Smash or F-Zero
there is a launch game for all of the games mentioned so it really doesn't matter! Even though F-Zero is better!
Smash Bros 64 is also a great idea but it is really a multiplayer game, and that would cause many arguments because people will be complaining of cheats and weapons... etc... also the battles could take forever.
FZeroX in Death Race is perfect, it can be short quick and one player can choose from a number of cars from a game that is only a couple of years old that sold well in this country!
