I am trying to organise some competitions in our shops.

For the Sony one I intend to use those difficult little tests to upgrade your licence in Gran Turismo 3. They only take about 30 seconds each and you can repeat them in fast order. they are timed to 1000th of a second so they fit the bill nicely.

For the Nintendo competition I need to find something "compact" on a N64 game, which can be measured and possibly saved. Does such a thing exist? Could I have your suggestions please?

As the N64 prize (in the shops) is likely to be a Game Cube plus game, it would be nice if the game used on the N64 "tied in" with one of the launch titles on the Game Cube.

Thanks in advance.

...And I could send my cartridge/memory card to the shop so they can take a look.

I could really do with winning a GameCube you see...

So...could it be a possibility here then???

Because i'm with SR, I buy EVERY GAME from SR - if a competition for a shop that I like (SR) is too far away that I can't enter it... it's unfair.

Especially if the competition is one where I have a good chance of winning.

Tony...please tell me I could do it from home...

That's what our local games shop does as qualifiers - get people to complete a certain challenge at home, save the file to a memory card/cartridge, and take it to the shop to prove it and get entered in to the finals..

Hi everyone, i'm abck from Hawaii, not that anyone cared or knew that i was gone but just to let you know.
I was thinking either the Goron Races from Majoras Mask (to tie in with Zelda 128) or the race against the man from Ocarina of time from the tent.
Just a thought

Will these 'short' competitions take place within the shops themselves or can people try at home and send their evidence in as photo's etc...?

Because if it is just in the shops then I couldn't do it! The nearest SR shop is Chelmsford and I live in Felixstowe!

And the prospects for a GameCube are overwhelming...ahh...ugggggg....hah..

We are meant to be suggesting good games CJC. Not games where you drive around ovals all the time.
