None of the Gamecube 'classics' are actually all that great and Nintendo themselves haven't made a genuinely excellent game in years. All they churn out is this overcomplicated boring pretentious toss. Deep? Developing storylines? Pffft...you're the ones who constantly criticise others for valuing themes and graphics over gameplay... If anything, Nintendo are one of the worst for plastering their games with excess crap that disguises dull, repetitive and lacking gameplay.

Give me Streets of Rage any day.

I've played Zelda and Metroid and all those 'wonderful' ones. They're crap.

I think I'll sell my cube/trade it in somewhere for cash within the next few weeks for the whammy fund.

A third party developer is a developer who makes games for multiple formats.

e.g. EA

A second party is a developer that produces games exclusivly for one console, that console manufacturer has either signed a deal with the company or own a percentage share in them.

E.g. HAL

A first party are the manufacturers development studios, so Sony, Microsoft Games Studio's and Nintendo EAD. Companies that are 100% owned by the console developer. And Retro Studio's is owned by Nintendo 100%.

sell your cube and bye a new grandma, Merm, because I've just buried her. Again.

I wholeheartedly disagree with everything that Merm says.

You should all discount most of it anyway, as I know that he hasn't played even a 1/4 of the games on the cube, and he's just assuming opinions based on the negative things that some people say about the games.

Hmmmmm, probably 'same old gameplay', 'same old engine', 'better on the N64' etc.

Not really too bothered about it, I expect Memo knows what I mean.

Although this is no different from any other console. You can't just put the blame on the Cube here.

It all depends on what you mean by rehash.

Memo sort of has a point. I like sport and racing games best, and Gamecube lacks seriously in this area. Apart from Madden 2004 there aren't really any good sports games. There's no good football game, and Mario Kart isn't the deep racer I want.

I like the exclusives like Sunshine, Pikmin, Monkey Ball and I also like Conflict Desert Storm, but apart from these, not many other games have offered the kind of depth Goldeneye gave.
