Whilst rumours fly around that these are fake pictures, I think there is a good chance that they could be real. And if they are real...is it just me or does it look a tad on the ugly side?
I'll reserve judgement until an official press release...

This is not a fact. you cannot possibly know this. you are making an assumption

This is also an assumption. you do not know Nintendo's motivations.

Tell me that you have seen Sony's marketing plan. These are more assumptions

Yes I can see how this is entirely based in fact.

This also.

Oh and this isn't your opinion at all.
I understand completely how all of this is fact, Bonus.

It was playable but I haven't seen any impressions of any of the games on any website (all multiformat) that I've looked at. Are there any? I know IGN liked the ergonomics, but said nothing of games, except the technical demo from the Pre-E3 conference, of which I was speaking.

Where were the assumptions and what was the lack of fact?
Tell me what was lacking in fact.
Assumptions - 100%
Credibility of Bonus - 0%
I've actually got a wireless network, 802.11b, that is compatable with the DS. This in turn is connected to a broadband connection via router.
Online gaming would be really simple in my house, providing that an internet connection is all that's needed.
I just wish they'd had an analogue stick...
Online Perfect Dark would've been... :-)

It's pretty obvious you've been blocking anything that isn't Nintendo news then, cos the PSP was playable today at the conference.
Nintendo were scared of the PSP, they copied their own design from Game And Watch to stop Sony getting a massive jump on them in the handheld market.
Thing is, Sony aren't aiming the PSP at gamers, they are aiming the PSP at 18-30 year old males with a higher level of disposable income. It's being aimed at the same sort of people who are buying iPods for £250 each, but the PSP will also play films, games, acces the internet and have removable storage Memory Sticks.
Students will love it.
Commuters will love it.
Ninetndo fans will love the DS, no one else.
Loads of people seem excited about the DS, but I don't really see anyone excited about the PSP. I can't really find anything to get excited about with the PSP, to be honest. The Sony Conference which showed it off was nothing more than a technical demo, which is pretty blody rubbish if you ask me.
Yuck.
