Whilst rumours fly around that these are fake pictures, I think there is a good chance that they could be real. And if they are real...is it just me or does it look a tad on the ugly side?

I'll reserve judgement until an official press release...

I can't be 100% certain until I see some official shots, but the top link showing the DS looks fake. The main screen is angled slightly more to the right than it should be.

Doesn't look all that bad, I've updated the E3 Thread with these links included. Keep it there, for Nintendo Goodness!

I am no doubt aware that there is a good chance of it being a fake. If it turns out to be real though, I think i'll be a tad disappointed.

I'm unsure about these pictures. Wouldn't like to say if true or not.. but if they are, it could be worse. It ain't pink..

Didn't I hear it wouldn't use buttons..? So many rumours.

I don't see why Nintendo would use the Prime name for the DS, seeing as that seems to be the Cube's Metroid tag.

Maybe the DS and Cube versions will be very closely linked somehow. Either that or Nintendo really like the name. I was surprised Echoes is called Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Wasn't the whole point of Metroid Prime being called Metroid Prime because it was the boss of the game? Now it's turned into a mushy mess of fried flesh fused to bone, surely it doesn't deserve a place in the title.

Unless they're bringing it back. That would suck.

If it follows directly on from the last Prime then I can see why they'd stick with the name.

So far it doesn't really sound connected. New planet, new evil, new nasty enemy after you.

Sounds formulaic, but not connected.

Saw this on another site earlier. I thought it looked fake on there, was a bigger pic. Looks like a SP stuck in some case...
