Check out IGN, there's a 5 page playtest on there, plus new screenshots and some direct stream videos (which you have to subscribe to get, I believe). The screenshots look incredible, and from what I read, the online multi-play looks and sounds awesome. The level described is exactly the kind of level I thought was lacking from the first game, a kind of 'onslaught' level with fixed gun turrets, loads of vehicles and cool sniping points.

Just a shame I won't have broadband when it comes out on November 9th.

As I said, the ideas were very nice, but the video in itself was something of a disappointment. The last two years brought us something to make anybody sit up and take notice, and the Zelda video released last night was awe-inspiring. That's what E3 should be about - shock, and from the way you guys were raving it seemed there was another intense Halo 2 video. But, as I said, all I get is two guys messing around on a multiplayer map.

Oh, and has taste taken a jump out of the window? Half-Life 2 looks so far ahead of anything else, or anything planned!

Hrmm...Well maybe it will beat in in Multiplayer, but I think Half Life 2 is gonna have a better single player.

It will be better than Half Life 2.

Does anyone know a site that lets you watch all of the presentations/movies for free?

Hmm... let's see. We now have destuctable vehicles and walls. "The balconies can be destroyed, the walls can be shot away, everything is destructible. You mock the images released by Bungie? You're a sucker. I've seen it with my own eyes, the walls degrade in different ways almost every battle. "

We have more interactive levels, better designed levels, we have more weapons and we have Live play. Not to mention of course that this is on Live. And prettier graphics and seemingly astounding sound.

So my question is what do you see lacking in this? There is just under 6 months to go, so there is time yet for more good stuff. We all know that the original Halo had pretty decent AI, this should be better yet.

Suddenly I think this will be better than Half Life 2.

Hey, just saying what I think.

You may have all watched a different trailer (I really hope so), but I can't see what's so pant-wettingly amazing about this. Sure, there are some nice improvements (destructable vehicles, for one), and the multiplayer looks very promising, but how am I supposed to get excited with, as Cyclone said, two guys messing around on a multiplayer map?

From what you lot were saying, I was getting psyched up for some epic trailer, but I get this. Last year's was a hell of a lot better - you couldn't dispute that was great. And the one with the nuclear explosions right across Earth. This, however, is pretty tame.

Please tell me I'm watching the wrong video...

I really like the look of that island. The city so far (what I've seen), is a bit boring. The island looks sweet.

I'm hoping there's gonna be online co-op modes, that would be excellent.

What were you expecting exactly?

Looks amazing from where I'm standing, can only imagine how hectic and amazing it's gonna be with 16+ players.
