This thread has been linked to the game 'Halo 2'.
Check out IGN, there's a 5 page playtest on there, plus new screenshots and some direct stream videos (which you have to subscribe to get, I believe). The screenshots look incredible, and from what I read, the online multi-play looks and sounds awesome. The level described is exactly the kind of level I thought was lacking from the first game, a kind of 'onslaught' level with fixed gun turrets, loads of vehicles and cool sniping points.
Just a shame I won't have broadband when it comes out on November 9th.

I've sort of lost interest in Halo2, and I even sold Halo yesterday and that's something I thought I'd never do. I don't know what it is but I'm just not all that fussed about it anymore and it certainly isn't in my 'must have' list anymore. There's literally just one game left on that list now.

Uh huh. Convenient that. Of course you could get broadband. Or if you were really desperate to prove that they're planets and not just space dust you could get the screen for the Xbox and the wireless adapter and just go to net cafes.
