But actually we live in the real world, and these are just dreams that will never come true, because those greedy developers only care about collecting money for themselves, and they wouldn't share it.

Er ... no.
They have some actually decent RPGs to be excited about. Most of which will never see the light of day over here.
FF is a poor flagship for PAL RPGs.
Oooohh! But your name!
Yes, yes, whatever.
> But still, it won't be half as successful as Sony+ Nintendo.
That remains to be seen.
Still, I would have to say I'd prefer something like Sony and Nintendo than Microsoft and Nintendo. Sony did, after all, do an excellent job with the PS1, and I don't want to see Microsoft monopolising yet another industry.
But Nintendo should not be tainted by either of these companies! They have zest and passion, a philosophy on games completely different to these two business giants. They should remain as they are.
I'd say Nintendo's views are far different from that of either Microsoft or Sony. Fact is, they're staying in the home console business alone and will give Sony a difficult time in the next generation of consoles.

I wasn't talking about quality. I was talking about it financially, I mean to say that sony consoles are a lot more widely spread and popular in the video games market.
Nintendo have sold far more consoles in their time than Sony. The Mario and Game Boy franchises are much more widespread than the Playstation brand.
And quality games will eventually result in financial success.

First of all, I agree that Nintendo has sold at some point more than sony, since the gameboy was the console that sold most units in History, and next comes ps1. But then when you think about it, you'd fid that selling more doesn't necesserally indicate quality . Vice City sold most copies on PS2 than any other console game in History, does that make it best game ever ? Anyway success doesn't necesseraly indicate quality, but it's a factor, especially when it comes to third party companies. Nintendo IS better than Sony , but Sony are currently the ones who are actually accomplishing success.
Nintendo make the best games and with a good release date for the N5, they should attain an even stronger hold in the market.

Well, that's not true.
See Fifa -enter year- vs. Ico.
