FM licked the first three fingers of his right hand and stroked his eyebrows, smoothing them down. He turned at, white robes with simple gold embroidery down the front swishing around him as he heard the guard approach.

FM was standing in a simple square room, with four braziers, one in each corner, all burning different colours. These weren’t normal flames however, as they did not give off coloured light, and the room remained smokeless, with a white light seeming to emanate from the walls and floor, with no shadows forming. In the middle of the room were two pedestals, about four feet apart. On top of them was a box. In it was FM’s father. FM turned as the guard stopped, bowing.

“Master.” Said Sniper, raising his head, looking into FM’s cold, hard eyes.
“You have your mission? You are ready to leave?”
“Yes Master.”
“Good.” FM turned back to look at the coffin, licking his fingers and rubbings his eyebrows again as he spoke. “This is just the first part my friend. I will have my revenge, I do not know when, but I will/”
“Yes Master.” There was an edge of concern in Snipers voice.
“What is wrong, my friend?”
“I do not know, Master. I think I am worrying with no reason.”
“Ah. You are concerned about the book, yes?” Sniper lowered his eyes. “Do not fear. I will find the book. MY magic grows with each passing month, soon I will have the power needed to find the book. Then, when it is mine, I will have unimaginable power!” FM felt a shiver run up his spine as he closed his eyes, imagining the power he would wield. He looked at Sniper. “You have your orders.”
“Yes Master Meister.”
“Go. Be swift, and do not fail me.” Sniper turned and left the room.

FM turned back to the coffin. As he walked around it, his fingers traced the inscription carved into the stone. He knew them all, word for word, but their feel comforted him. They were instructions on how to travel the underworld.

Wrath exploded through Meka’s mind. He screamed “No!” in a murderous rage as he leapt off the rock. With both hands he brought the sword up while still in mid-air. When he hit the ground he recoiled, swinging it around from behind in an arc. The sword whistled with its speed. The man had turned as Meka hit the ground. Seeing Meka coming, he brought his own sword up defensively, with lightning speed.

Meka watched as if in a dream as his sword come around. Every ounce of his strength went into trying to make the sword go truer, go faster. Be deadlier. The magic raged with his need. Meka looked from the mans sword, hard into the steel blue eyes. Mekas sword followed the track of his eyes, he heard himself still screaming. The man held his sword straight up, to deflect the blow.

Everything else around the man dissolved in Mekas vision. His anger, the magic, was unleashed like never before. No power on earth could deny him the mans blood.

He finished his arc, the sword coming round at eye height to the side of the mans head. It shattered through the mans sword, and exploded through his chainmail hood, bits of molten twisted metal flying off into the undergrowth. The sword continued its journey, making contact with the mans skull, and continuing through, out the other side of his head.

Bits of bone blood and brain flew up into the air as the early morning air was filled with a cloud of red mist. Steaks of blood covered Meka, dripped down his body, dribbled off his sword as he slowly lowered the point to the ground.

The mans body crumpled slowly to the ground, blood pumping out over the ground, mixing with the puddles already there. Meka could feel the cold mist help cool his body.

“Meka!” Meka awoke, a sheen of sweat over his whole body. “Meka, my brother, are you alright?” asked Grix.
“It was that dream.”
“Again?” Meka nodded in reply.
“Come on, get up, we have to meet the others soon.”
“Who?”
“You know, the others from the village. Dan2K1, Venombyte and Ant.”
“What about er-no, and YH?”
“They said they had something to do. They will meet us later.” Grix helped his brother to sit up.
“Ok, give me a few minutes." Grix nodded and left the room. Meka put his head in his hands as he thought about the dream.

“Master Meister?” FM looked around.
“Yes?”
“I have some bad news Lord, about Sniper.”
“He hasn’t dies again has he?”
“Yes Lord, he fell off his horse.”
“How did that kill him?”
“Into the moat.”
“He can swim.”
“Yes Lord, but as he tried to climb out, he must have pulled the lever, the one you ordered put in?”
“I vaguely remember.”
“That let the piranhas in.”
“Ah. I should have expected something like this. He has a whole bloody palace to have his accidents in. I put all that sponge about so he wouldn’t hurt himself, and yet he falls into the piranha moat. Amazing. Nevermind, he will be back by now. Tell him to continue with his task. Tell him to be more careful next time.”

"Pub?"

"Yeah. Don't see why not. I'll get the rest."

Grix stood up, and said, loudly, but not shouting:

"Pub."

The others, which all slept around the room, stood up, and got ready to go.

They had managed to get back to Meka's house, and slept on the kitchen floor. Snake stood guard, sitting on the breakfast table.

Snake looked in the mirror, and admired his reflection. "Damn."

Mongoose man, sans antlers, went up the stairs for the bathroom first, and pushed Meka's wife out of the way.

Meka came out of his bedroom, saw everyone in his house, and put his head in his hands.

His wife just stared at him.

"Good news Meka! We're going down the pub!"

His wife stared at him some more. Meka tried to hide his grin.

-----------

"Ok, so we're in the pub. Now what?"

Sheepy stood upon a table. "We drink!"

"Hurrah!"

Everyone ran for the bar.

--------

And by not even five minutes later, they were all out of their minds.

"I love you guys. And I'm not just saying that, you know. You're all great."

Sheepy hugged his bottles. "I'll never leave you, never."

Sniper saw Bill Gates again, and ran for his life. Unfortunatly he ran into the wall, underneath a rather unsturdy knife-shelf.

Grix, however, was trying to stare out the payphone. He narrowed his eyes, and kept them on it, as he took another swig from his pint.

It started to ring.

Grix jumped for joy, and his beer flew everywhere. Sheepy looked up, down at the wasted beer, walked over to Grix, and slapped him.

Venombyte walked to the phone.

"Heloo?"

"Hello, is the one known as Your Honour there?"

"Yeaah, I just get him."

"No no no... it's ok. The one known as Grix, is he there?"

"Yup, he's here... no... yeah! Yeah, he's here."

"What about Venombyte?"

"He's here too, don't know where..."

"Sniper?"

"Yup."

*This continued for a while, and the breakoff has nothing to do with the author having no idea who is actually with them at the moment*

"Yeah, everybody is here."

"Good. Bye!"

"Bye!"

Venombyte put the phone down, and walked back to the table...

Then, about ten people burst into the pub...

FM stood up, and looked at the doorway.

"My God... the mimes. The mimes have found us!"

Ten mimes all leaned on imaginary shelves. One of them broke off from the crowd, and did a sort of kung-fu show. He motioned FM towards him with his hand.

FM looked at the table. He needed a weapon...

There was a bottle... no... a pint glass... no... a pen... no, that wouldn't do, either... the chair? No no no... Ah!

FM picked up a beermat. He waved it at the mime.

The mime looked confused.

Fm started to jump around, shaking the beermat around his head, like a tribal war dance.

The mime continued to look confused. This however didn't actually mean he was confused.

FM danced towards the mime, with his eyes wide open, staring into the mimes.

He placed the beermat into the pocket of the mime, pulled out a lighter, and lit his pocket.

The mime danced in agony, trying to put out the flames. Other mimes tried to put him out by throwing imaginary buckets of water over him, which did nothing but make him stumble a bit.

FM motioned for the others to run out of the pub, they all ran out the back way.

The rest of the mimes ran out of the pub. Some through the window, some through the door.

Grix looked behind. The mimes were already catching them, some on imaginary scooters, some on imaginary gondolas.

FM signalled everyone to line up in a row, and told everyone to place their hands out flat in front of them, as if there was a wall.

The mimes faces turned to terror as their imaginary scooters piled up into the wall. The mimes with the gondolas tried to turn, but it was too late, and they smashed into the imaginary wall too. FM signalled for them to run.

--------------

They all managed to get to Pembrokeshire woods. They decided they would set up camp for the night. Their lack of camping equipment didn't deter them, however, and neither did the fact that it wasn't actually nighttime. They simply all sheltered under Sniper, after an idea by er-no, which wasn't exactly what he was thinking of, but he'd rather get the glory of this idea anyway.

"FM, can I have a word with you?" Grix asked, taking him aside.

"Well... it would seem odd if I said no, so yes, you can."

Meka joined them.

"What happened with those mimes? How did you know what to do?"

FM looked at the floor. "Well, it was, err... intutition, you know..."

Grix and Meka stared at him.

"Damn... I'd thought I'd never have to tell this to anyone," FM said, resumed. "Ah well, take a seat. It's a long story."

Grix's Brain's diary - 21st September 2001

The voices are back. I've never really had the courage to tell anyone about them... but they irritate me so much! Especially when I'm trying to think of something witty to put Grix down with.

Something is going down at the moment, I'm still having trouble working out what it is. I've told Grix I know the whole plot, but I haven't got a clue really. God knows where Pb and Ant are. I thought Ant was dead. Never mind then.

Not a lot seemed to happen today, either. Nothing seems to happen for a few days, and then lots of things happen at once. Very odd.

I better have a word with Grix about his drinking habits. I'm tending to get rather small.

Sniper's diary - 21st September 2001

I'm worried about Pb and Ant. It was rather unlike them to just vanish without warning to anyone. It upsets me that they can do things like that.

However, we must stay focused. I really don't know how long this tale will take, but I'm beginning to have my suspicions. I won't write who, because I fear for my life.

VenomByte's diary, 20th September.

This morning Ant and pb were gone when we woke up at the hotel. They'd been sharing a room, so we drew the obvious conclusion. Still, we can probably manage without them.

To kill a few hours, we decided to go to the FOG arms. We stole a golf cart, and found er-no on the back of it. We asked him to explain, and he did. He told us it was his golf cart.

He also told us he'd time travelled to later that evening, where we were destined to be very drunk. Deciding that we couldn't do anything to change our fate, we went along with that.

So then he left. He appeared again in the pub, asking where pb and Ant were. Sniper told him Bill Gates had taken over the world, and then he left. We hope Sniper didn't confuse him.

------------

pb and Ant were silent in the darkness. They had no choice. They were bound and gagged in the boot of a car. It was very cramped with both of them in the boot. So much so, that every time they took a right hand turn, Ant's head pressed painfully against an exposed screw. He cursed his luck. Pb was a little less lucky. Every time they took a left hand bend, Ant's foot sunk into his nether regions.

There was a right turn.

"nnngg!"

"Can you two hear us in the back there?"

"I expect you'd like to know where you're going, wouldn't you?"

There was a sharp left turn.

"MMGGGHHHH!!"

"You say something?"

"You two are going to help us find Grix. He is needed for the ritual to be finished."

Another right.

"gghh!"

"Don't worry, you'll get some fresh air soon enough. We're nearly there."

Handbrake left

"NYYYGGRRRRAAAAAARGH!

The car stopped.

"...But I'm sure it will be explained by someone else."

They all nodded.

"er-no?!"

They all turned around after YH shouted. He was indeed hanging onto the back.

"How the hell did you get here?" FM asked.

"Well..." er-no stood up, and brushed his clothes. "It's a very intriging story..."

"Damn! Why didn't the keys drop as well!" Grix shouted, before running to catch up with the rest of them...

He stopped when he heard a noise, a little jangle, almost like a bunch keys hitting the ground.

"Hey! Lads! Wait, come back." The others stopped, except Sniper who was toof ar away to hear.

The jogged back to see Grix on his hands and knees, appearing to rub the ground.

"Grix, there's not sheep here-"

"Except me" Said Sheepy."

"Shut up, I think I heard the keys for the golf kart thing drop on the ground, help me look." So they did, and after a few minutes someone found them.

Luckily, the kart wasn't badly damaged, afterall, Sniper had cushioned its fall quite nicely. So, they all climbed in. YH wanted to drive, because he thought he was good at MarioKart, but then sulked when Grix told him there was no Red Shells to fire at people, so YH went and sat on the roof.

FM was driving, Grix as pannsenger, YH on the roof, Venombyte, Sheepy and Ant and the back seat, and er-no hanging on the back.

Quite a comedy sight, I can tell you.

FM turned the key, the kart (although electric and not actually needing a key), started anyway, and they chugged along in a Wack Races stylie until they caught up with Sniper.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Said Sniper. The others turned to look at him.

"What's that noise?" Asked FM.

"What noi-"

"Shh." The was a whsitling noise, such as might be made by a golf cart falling from the sky. The group dived out of the way.

"This is gay, why won't you tell me-"

There was a damp splat of a noise.

"Ho hum. Give him a minute and we'll be on out way." Said YH.

"Where are we going, anyway?" Asked Sheepy.

"To the pub?"

"SOunds good to me. Only, where is it, and where are we?"

"Dunno. In the middle of a field. With a golf cart. As for the pub, yor guess is as good as mine."

"That was gay." Then Sniper set off in one direction.

"That way's as good as any."

And the group followed him, to try and find the pub.

"Where's Pb? And Ant?" FM asked, popping out of his room and into YH's.

"Don't ask me. I don't even know how I got into the story." He replied.

FM walked out, and began waking everyone up... FM was already awake. Obviously.

After assumming that they had gone on without them, or wherever they were, it was their own business... they decided to leave. Sheepy wrote a cheque in his new chequebook, and they walked outside.

"Didn't we have bikes when we came here?"

"Yeah, we still do." Grix pointed to where the bikes were. "Oh. No we don't."

"Bagger." Fm said, putting on his Austrailian accent. "What the bloody hell ah we supposed to do now eh?"

"If only McGuyver was here. He could build us a car."

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Sniper said.

-------------

There was once a man who travelled through time. Dr someone, I forget who.

Anyway, this Dr Someone discovered all these different ways of the universe. Loads of stuff, beyond the meaning of life... all about little twists and turns that made life... what it was, basically.

Basically, he found out that whenever someone said certain sentences, the universe reacted in different ways. God knows why, and he's probably still laughing at it.

Examples of these sentences:

"My spine sectors seem to be rubbing up the wrong orifice."

- Causes a red van to crash into a factory that produces keyrings.

"Speaking personally, I haven't a clue what my name is."

- Causes a to tree fall silently somewhere.

"My mantlepiece needs a chimp."

- Causes someone somewhere to have a constant itch in their right buttock for the next three years.

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard."

- Makes a golf cart drop from the sky onto the person that said it.
