It seems as though games companys are buying up the rights to make more film/tv franchised games, as the film industry is also buying the rights to games to make films. There are many good films and television programes that may have been overlooked to turn into games or have not been suggested yet. My favourite for conversion are "seven days" a time travelling game to set right events that occur within the last seven days with missions like save the president from assasination. please add your own ideas.

Hows about Quantum Leap? - for all the cultish fans out there.

Time travling based (depending on your birthdate perhaps) where you have to solve puzzles or stop events from happening - for example - Assasinations - JFK??? - with multiple endings and timelines.

Damn difficult game to make tho...

On a more nostalgic note - A game of Transformers or Dangermouse would be very cool.

jackie chan adventures
inspector gadget for the game boy
theres some things I won't have to include here again

the jackie chan game apparently includes the use of objects like umbrellas and stuff as weapons like he does in the films.

That is set to be a GameCube game sometime in the future! I saw it listed in NGC #61, but we probably won't see it 'till at least 2003! I haven't even seen the film yet though.

quick revisit to an oldish topic.
that 70's show and that 80's show (the funnier american version) could be licenced into say add on discs for games like the sims where everything would be changed to a 70's or 80's theme.

Or even a happy days expansion pack taking you back to the 1950's
or a back to the future themed disk set with the various time periods to have your sims live in.
I think a star wars or startrek themed set would be going too far as people would probably watch their sims beat up jar jar binks or something.

just aa few ideas there if anyone wants to add to them or expand upon them in any way.

no more TV for about a week for me, the tv that my roommate had has been returned to his friend before he leaves. That leaves me with only my memory asa source of ideas.

I'm sure some classic TV shows could be made into games,
like MASK, Defenders of the earth, the Phantom.......

I'd lke to see a pinky and the brain game.
"What will we do tonight brain?"
"the same thing we do every night pinky, try to take over the world!"

2 mice Vs the world = interesting odds of sucess.

You'd have to get to a point where you could take over the world and then in the cut scenes your plan would fail.

Just to reverse the idea for a moment, I would think that grand theft auto would be made into a film. The lead actor working his/her way up the criminal underworld.
Following the ideas set out in the games.

Miami Vice: could be like gta but with you taking the role of the vice squad trying to take the porn/drugs..... off of the streets. And you get to wear the 80's clothes like a suit with a t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up.
Driveing around in sonny crockets fast cars.
