iam just putting this hopefully to get some answers.
tonight i recieved an email from gamestreet that told me that they had spoken to sony this morning and they had cancelled the release in the uk of gt3 and another date had not been set.
now dont go mad at me iam only trelling u what i recieved ,if you want ill post email on here so u can read it for yourselfs.
i did contact them and they couldnt answer tonight and are ringing me tommorrow. so i hopefully will know more by then.
now if anybody from special reserve can obvuoisly scotch this terrible rumour i will be as pleased as the next guy.
so i wait any repies on here and more importantly from gamestreet tommorrow.

There are dates to do with launches of various parts of the web site, such as downloads, but I didn't see any relating directly to the launch of the game.

Right, I'm not having a go at anyone here and will be mightily p***ed off if GT3 isn't released on the 20th July!
Just wondered after reading all the emails and phonecalls etc why SR still have this game as a release date of the 20th July, I've just been to the website and there is no mention of any delays and I also notice that none of the staff from SR have been on this forum to backup or deny the delay claims.

Hi you lot I'm not being a git today!
Maybe OPS2 only gave them 9 so they decided to listen to their comments and improve the AI to get a 10.

the place i spoke to and got this email is the shop on the official scee (sony) site and they say that its not got a release date read for your self.
ive had my copy ordered since feb and iam getting as miffed about it as everybody,
but after all ive heard today on the phone and emails ive recieved iam not holding my breath for the 20th
heres the emails ive had and i got these are from this afternoon.

I personally spoke to a Sony representative this morning who informed me that the release date has been removed from their schedule so it now looks as if it may not be released for a while longer. Unfortunately we can only go on the information the production company give us and at the moment there is not a definite date.

Out of interest, and just to cover all bases here, can anyone on this forum actually manage to get hold of or see a real copy of GT3 before July 20th ? I can for July 19th but that's the earliest, wondered if anyone worked anywhere that gets games in any earlier than thursdays ?
I've no doubt July 20th is the release date but seeing July 27th in Official PS2 magazine review of GT3 is rather haunting.....God I'm paranoid !
