Your original statement was that Iraqis preferred dictators. Its a ridiculous statement with no basis. I think its true to say that they'll struggle with democracy, alot of countries do at first. Yet that doesnt mean they prefer living under the rule of a brutal dictator.
For what its worth I dont think executing Saddam has achieved anything either, yet that wasnt what you originally said.

Bombs were droppng before the war started though, hence the reason why Saddam did get executed. He committed atrocities. Having saying that we've done exactly the same thing by bombing them.
