7/10
Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.
If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Just had Scott Pilgrim Vs The World from the US,hoping to watch that tonight as I missed it at the cinema.
It's a great film. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.
Tonight though I have Law Abiding Citizen. I'm not expecting much.
The wife's choice but it was actually a decent film and amusing at times.
It was pretty funny actually. I'm big enough to admit I love kids films and am quite happy for forgo any sense of intricate plot for a good piece of family entertainment. Helped having Owen Wilson as the voice of Marmaduke. What impressed me most, though, was how they did the brilliant mouth movements for the voices.
It's been getting panned by the critics, but I enjoyed it.
Planned for the next fortnight: Jackass 3D.
Wish my cinema was like that. The cinema we have is the Odeon and depending on the films, the employees stand by the doors into the cinema which are unfortunately near the exit.
Cinemas these days are 'posh' affairs compared to 'way back when' but perhaps if I told you the cinema's 'nickname' then perhaps you might see how easy it was to see a film for free...it was called 'The Flea Pit' .... :¬ (
Just as we did years ago...there was one cinema called 'The Victory' and it was common knowledge that the rear fire exit doors didn't close properly...so guess what we all did! Saw no end of films for nothing and some twice in the same day :¬)[/i]

I'm sure there's a good point being made here about old people being given something to live for but it's wasted in a film that is the definition of average.
