The Gameboy Advance. A stunning new handheld from Nintendo. It has the power to produce games of a standard roughly similar to the SNES.

That's really remarkable, isn't it?

I'm not sure where the idea that as it's as good as a SNES, a bunch of SNES games should be ported onto it!

Mario advance, F-Zero, Golden Axe, Streets Of Rage. All old games available for, or coming to the GBA.

These are the titles that seem to be getting people excited, and I really think that that is very strange indeed.

Yes they were good games, but if there's anything coming to a handheld that people should be excited about it isn't slightly improved versions of games that have been around for the best part of a decade! It's not even a GBA game that I'm looking forward to, but one that will be available for the GameBoy Colour (if they ever get a release over here). What are these games? Zelda: Oracle of Ages, and Zelda: Oracle of Seasons.

Is there not one other person out there that would rather play a new Zelda game than old Mario games? What are you, crazy?

If the only titles that are generating interest for the GBA are the retro titles, then eventually, that's all that you'll get.

The handheld has a lot of promise, but could easily be wasted. Hopefully there will be some games that prove that there can still be originality in the handheld market. Maybe they'll make it a success when they reveal how it will tie in with the Nintendo GAMECUBE. But honestly, if you only want a GBA to play on the games from yesterday, it's cheaper to pick up the consoles and games second hand, or if they're games that you already own, but you can't be bothered to plug in your SNES anymore, why not simply emulate it?

GBA owners, demand originality, demand creativity, and stop handing over your money for old rope.

The best ever Zelda was UNDOUBTADLY Zelda:... Oh crap! I can't remeber the name now! The one on the SNES with Light and Dark world!

That's probably my favourite game ever.

Sony and Microsoft are both currently developing their own handhelds...

I think he's right. Zelda GBC was the best in the series, the 64 version could have been less boring.

I have to admit I have a GBC. I have to admit I loved Zelda GB and think it is the best Zelda ever. I have to admit, I haven't played my GBC for over 8 months, and the only person who does play it is my 11 year old brother with his Pokemon games!!!!

Although just for thought, if Sony released a handheld, games on minidiscs???

Hands up all those Sony fans who'd like a hand held that plays Sony games and links up to your PS2?

Nope, didn't think so.

Pah... GBA rules... I don't see Sony providing their customers with a handheld that's compatible with over 500 other games and a 128-bit console!
