I actually thought that it would be technically better than the PS2, boy was I wrong!!!
Hands up how many Nintendo fans tried to s**g off the PS2 for only having 4Mb of embedded VRAM for the Graphics synthesiser chip. Come on now don't be shy, oh well all of you may be interested enough to here that in an official interview on Gamespot ATI's VP of engineering announced that the Gamecube only has 3Mb of embedded VRAM, and it is no where near as fast as the PS2's DRDRAM, which runs at 800mghz and allows a much higher bandwidth in and out of the chip!!

FF7 was the best.
Yeah Pokemon will do me no need for the FF stuff but if it gives the big N support then i'm not going to say no to it!
Not really a fan of FF myself either. I've got FF8 for the Psone and find it pritty boring.
I don't like Final Fantasy I prefer Zelda no loss for me!
I bet the fans wanted Final Fantasy as well though.
Nintendo did make a CD console Phillips CDi oh and the playstation!
The fans wanted carts, and nintendo listened to them.
Because CD technology was just there for the picking. The PSone and Saturn managed it, why couldn't Nintendo?
No Hiroshi Yamauchi hates Squarer soft and vice versa they made 6 FF on carts why not 3 more????
Nintendo and Square only hate eachother because of the cartridge thing. If they hadn't have done that then the whole FF series would have been on the N64.
