Hands up how many Nintendo fans tried to s**g off the PS2 for only having 4Mb of embedded VRAM for the Graphics synthesiser chip. Come on now don't be shy, oh well all of you may be interested enough to here that in an official interview on Gamespot ATI's VP of engineering announced that the Gamecube only has 3Mb of embedded VRAM, and it is no where near as fast as the PS2's DRDRAM, which runs at 800mghz and allows a much higher bandwidth in and out of the chip!!
Shame on you all, now apologize to Bonus, then go read the full interview at the address below!!

Does anyone really know the answer to this?
It the difference, whichever way it goes, really that significant at all?
Did anyone care that the megadrive was less capable than the SNES?
From what I've seen, the GameCube looks amazing so I don't think that 1MB of RAM is going to effect the GameCube much...

Most... well.. All of the all time classics wernt really throwing complex graphics around the screen...
Tetris... when originally released, was mocked graphically on the Spectrum...
And although not a big PS2 fan myself... Is is curious to see that the Ninty kids are giving out excatly the same kinda reasons that the PS2 kiddies were providing not so long back???
