Hands up how many Nintendo fans tried to s**g off the PS2 for only having 4Mb of embedded VRAM for the Graphics synthesiser chip. Come on now don't be shy, oh well all of you may be interested enough to here that in an official interview on Gamespot ATI's VP of engineering announced that the Gamecube only has 3Mb of embedded VRAM, and it is no where near as fast as the PS2's DRDRAM, which runs at 800mghz and allows a much higher bandwidth in and out of the chip!!
Shame on you all, now apologize to Bonus, then go read the full interview at the address below!!

But the Gamecube games are still superior...
Perhaps the Gamecube is designed more efficiently so it runs better with less RAM or more likely that Gamespot has made a mistake somewhere along the line...

I can say my PS2 is brilliant and has brought me months of enjoyment. How many of you can say the same about the GameCube, eh?
> The GameCube is of course brilliant
How do you know??
TurboNutter: Yes actually they did
Vottanator: Damn!
What we're seeing on the PS2 however is nowhere near what the beast can output, as developers are still taking the PC approach to it which is totally wrong.
Remember the marked improvement in graphics with the PSone? It'll be the same but more exxagerated on the PS2.
