"I must confess that after maybe 10 hours or so of play, I am becoming bored with Train Simulator. I am interested in the BNSF freight part of this game and there is simply not much as far as excitement goes in this game. The biggest challenge in any activity seems to be controlling the speed of the train. I guess that in real life, railroading is pretty boring too"
WHAT?!?!?!
This game dull?
The thing is, he sounds surprised by this.
I pity da fool.
And, no word of a lie, another reviewer said it was rubbish because he couldnt get it to install.
Note to Plum: Turn machine on 1st.
Sorry if Trainspotters are awaiting this game, but you ARE sad, you have NEVER seen a naked woman/man that isnt a family member and you really cant complain that this game is dull.
*shakes head*
These are the sorts of people that lick battery tops and fix plugs with knives.
I love my job!
I'll put on my best driving out-fit and be ready in an hour!
Mind you, i've got to get the 10:30 from Brimley and take it to Manchester for repairs... boy I love that route... the scenic views are incomparable!
but yes... let me finish my work...
I LOVE THE TRAINS!
Everybody on... THE GAME TRAIN!
Hmmmmm, doesn't seem an accurate simulator of British trains, which seem to have none.
Hence the accidents.
Game, any last requests??
However, I detect very little irony in the rest of the post, so here
*hands him some bullets*
Be my guest
Ms Train Simulator is the best sim game ever, the graphics are great and the atmospheres are comparable to those of Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia! The sound is neat and you have a few horns to sound along your way down the track... the weather changes and you can control the signals, brakes, horns, lights and even the wind-screen wipers!
As far as simulation goes, MS Train Simulator hits the mark! The gameplay might be quite samey, but you won't mind... you won't be able to get enough of the gameplay so more of it will be more than welcome!
Okay, so you can't build trains but who says Microsoft won't release add-ons! The game is bound to be a smashing success and demand for a sequel/add-on will be massive! Even the 'Exploration' mode is great... just driving your train through lovely land-scapes... and they said Classic FM was relaxing...
But it's not all about having fun... you have a job to do and you've got to get to the passengers on time or you're done! You can upload, download and offload passengers from stop-to-stop in an attempt to contribute to their daily lives!
I've gotta go back to the graphics because they're great... you know when the smoke coming out of the funnel isn't quite smoke and the visible 'black stuff' hasn't developed yet... you get that on the game, and the detail of the carriages is amazing with all of them having full animation!
You may not meet the dizzy-heights of Daytona or the frantic 4-Player frolics of Mario Kart, but in it's own right, MS train simulator meets all the demands of train fanatics and it has set a new benchmark for train games and simulators alike!
Choo-Choo-Choose this train Game!
Game
I have to confess to a deep and passionate love-affair with train games.
I would like nothing more than to sit in front of my monitor and simulate the experience of driving trains.
However, I feel it necessary to point out that, should I play this game, I will push my face through a tennis raquet to atone for my sins of denying this giddy thrill of a game.
You may take back my Tribes 2, Counterstrike and Operation Flashpoint, for I have found my hearts-desire, and it is Train Simulator.
Don't hate me
