Just been playing Goldeneye four player with my mates and it's as addictive as was all those years ago. Anyway played on facility with remote mines, and went up into th air vent to place a few dozen mines in the starting area. Get back out go around killing some more people and wait till someone regenerates there. Then BOOM! So funny. Any classic moments any of you had with this game?

Heh. I remember you could use a timed mine to blow up the tail of your plane on the runway cut-scene too.

Excellence :^)

Facility, proximity mines, spawning in toilets and slow down, genius.

Oh yeah, the level control room kept me going for ages too. Thought it was just me :D

The controller set-ups was awesome.

They even had set-ups that used two controllers! How amazing was that! Why would they put in a configuration for single player that used two controllers?

It made my mastery of the game even sweeter, when after splattering all challenges in multiplayer, I went on to complete the single player game by using two controllers :)

Also if you plugged one into port 4 you could move a cursor and shoot in the end of level cutscenes.

I remember one memorable occasion I completed the Archives, and just as Bond and Natalia ran along the path and posed, I shot Natalia in the head and she slumped over onto the floor.

Classic.

Argh! So many to remember!

Giving guard flying lessons in the facility (with remote mines) was always great fun. So was making patterns with so many mines that the first ones you laid started to disappear...

The most satisfying moment I ever pulled off?

Well, I put All Guns and Infinite Ammo on Bunker 2.
I completed all the objectives (bar freeing Natalia) and extinguished the place of gun toting pests so I could get to work.
I stood at the exit door way and threw out hundreds of remote mines.

And a single promximity mine.

Then I free Natalia and made for the exit.

Comes the end scene:
James and Natalia flee from the bunker.
There's a huge explosion that James runs right through... but Natalia get's killed by!

And yep, I failed the mission during the end cutscene! :-D

I think I also pulled a similar trick in Jungle as well, and could be done on Archives.

Speaking of which, I finally mastered stealth on archives.
Using just knifes, I managed to beat it on 00 Agent, without the clumsyness of a loud gunfight.

Beautiful! :-)

Yeah, you could do it in about 14 seconds with the speed up cheat enabled.

Remote mines are the best weapons in the game.

Throw and press A/B to detonate when you want.

Brilliance.

Like controllable grenades.

The Facility is the level with the toilet, isn't it?

I've had many joyous occasions in there... oh yes.
...

Remote mines worked in any level, but they were best in the Complex. Especially in the air vents.
