All hail Shvigsy, Ya!!!!
However if you look at the PS2 and X-Box, many of their games are good pick-up-and-play titles, like racers, shooters and sports sims and that kind of stuff. I find it hard to buy a game for the GC and find the time to play it, as most of them are quite involving. So I tend to buy more games for my X-Box and PS2 simply because those consoles are designed for the casual gamer, like myself.

Jet Set Radio, Dead or Alive 2... these sorta games made the system a really enjoyable game machine... I played it for five minute spats because it was simply rather fun, good enough reason to me.
For longer games I stuck to Skies, Shenmue, Code Veronica and Phantasy Star.
There were a few classics but the rest of the games were awful, with short lifespans and repetetive game play. I bought mine second hand for about £70 and sold it about 3 months later because it stunk. None of the games were worth playing for more than a couple of day, except for maybe Shenmue, MSR and Skies of Arcadia...oh and some robot fighting game that I forget the name of.
It was far too arcadey for its own good.
The typical anti-Nintendo gamer calls the games kiddie, right?
Well he's acting like a bigger kid than anyone else in here :D

Lesbian cube? Tell me where I can get one of those babies!
I bloody hated Shenmue 2, though. Had it on the Xbox and it was one of the slowest games ever. Had to ask several people how to get to Wan Zhai, and then had to follow an old man who, given the speed he was walking, probably had crippling arthritis in both legs.
I took it back after two hours of incredibly tedious play.
