"Official Fable Thread"

Not quite sure why mine is more Official than any other, but there you go.

I reall like the look of this game. I really want to like the actual game, but I'm worried.

I really wanted to like Morrowind, but I didn't have 50+ hours to put into it before I could just about manage to kill a rat. Is the same thing likely to happen here?

I'm much more of a "half an hour here and there" type gamer, rather than a "6 hours straight? That's nothing!" type.

Also, talk amongst yourselves about Fable, it's out 2 months before Halo 2 anyway...

Looks excellent in my books.

ill be getting it. and for anyone whos yet to hear..Fable 1.5 is in the works. It will be downloadable from live and will have new towns, quests, people and ONLINE PLAY! but this is only if Fable is a success..which it most likely will be.

Sounds good to me from that review, definetly be purchasing it.

Seems an odd game from that review.

Parts of it are incredibly ingenious and original, others are old, tired and repeated game flaws. Bizzarre.

It has lovely looks though. Oh yes.

But it doesn't seem to be quite the game it was hyped to be - I mean, it sounds like it's brilliant, but Fable was supposed to be the best thing ever. I mean ever.

Still, I will probably get it.

Hmm. Sounds like it might be a tad of a dissapointment, but then, I'd expect nothing less from old "Force your Creature to eat wood (isn't that great)" Molyneux.

VERY good, although perhaps not as OMG REVOLUTIONARY!!1 as it 'should' be. Need to read the reveiw.
