Up for LIVE play this weekend? Haven't been on LIVE in ages and this looks like the only Xbox game that is of any interest this year, for me anyway. Pre-ordered the US version last week and I am really looking forward to it. I thought the first two were average at best but judging from preview/reviews and video footage this looks to be in a compeltely different league.

Anyone up for Burnout 3 LIVE?

Just one thing, you have to be using your Xbox in 60Hz mode to be able to play it on Live.

Not sure what my Xbox plays on normally. I used the lead out of the box, but with my GC I had to pay £25 for a lead to play with 60Hz. Hrmm.

The standard Xbox cable can run a game at 60Hz, so you're OK.

Woo :)

Just I tried going on Live on those EA stands at GSL, and it said it couldn't play because it was running in 50Hz. Strange.

Hmm, dunno. I use the standard cable and always select 60Hz no problems - even on Live.

I'll probably be purchasing it this week.

Money goes through my hands like mercury at room temperature.

Yes I'm getting it AND I'm trying desperately to restrict my purchases to only games with Live modes...

Just had a thought - perhaps the code on the GSL demos were from a point where that feature had not yet been implemented.

There was a hell of a lot of unfinished games there...
