As most hardcore gamers know there are 3 main consoles that are owned throughout the world. These are Playstation, XBOX and the loveable Gamecube but which 1 do you personally think is the best 1 around?

This year...

That's 1 more than the X-box (Fable and Halo 2) and the PS2 (GT and GTA).

Erm there are more games I want on the Gamecube than there is for the GBA and X-box put together.

This year alone Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime 2 are essential...

Donkey Konga, Tales and Animal Crossing aren't so essential but damn useful.

Next year there be Four Swords, Resident Evil 4, Zelda, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Starfox 2, Geist, Mario Tennis, Baiton Kaitos, Advance Wars, Odama etc... etc...

Plus a load of unannounced stuff.

The lack of games which are actually worth owning being released on the Gamecube is depressing, isn't it?

If my girlfriend didn't like Mario Kart so much, I think I'd sell it :D

Spot the 2 major errors there.

A: Animal Crossing was released about 2 years ago in the US.

B: Biggest release of the year for the Gamecube? Surly that's Metroid Prime 2, Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario 2????

I cant beleive the biggest hit of the year is going to be a game which was released in the US nearly three years ago. Proves how little nintendo think of the european market...

Bonus is correct. All three consoles have a different style of games.

Lets face it, X-box is for the FPS, online and Racing fans... it is that simple. PS2 games aren't always of the top quality but there are a lot of good games out there. And the Gamecube has the Nintendo titles, and that is why people own Nintendo consoles.

Roll on Animal Crossing.
