I was listening to Radio 1 last night, and i heard Muse's Bliss and when the leader singer is singing it sounds a bit like the lyrics of Jeff Buckley's Grace!

Anybody Agree?

Yeah.
Nice kit man.

I refuse to let anyone near mine, it borders on pyschotic sometimes.
Had someone use it once and they bust the snare head and didnt have anymore.

Glad to hear the demo is being taken well.
We're back in end of this month for a CD single, that follows our demo which we touted round to about 80 record labels before we got a couple of phone calls.

Did a showcase last week and we're just seeing what's happening now.
Nerve-Wracking to say the least playing to people in suits that are making notes.

Fantastic! I hope it all works out for you. The lot I'm with, we've finished recording our first demo which has been met with a tremendous response, better than we'd hoped to be honest.

My kit is;

Pearl Export 97' Series Drums (Black)
Wood Finish 13" Piccolo
12"/13" Rack Toms mounted on a Tom-Holder stand
16" Floor Tom
12" Sabian Pro Splash
16" Sabian Pro Crash
17" Sabian Pro Crash
20" Sabian Pro Ride
14" Sabian AA China
18" Sabian Pro China
14" Sabian Fusion Hats
Alesis DM5 Sound Module (my new baby)
2 Simmons SDX Pads
2 Sided Gibralter Rack
Twin Chained Pearl Powershifter Pedal

I don't mind other drummers using my kit to be honest, as long as they don't leave pits in the skins, that really annoys me when that happens, it's also usually a good indication of how good/bad they were too.

I am at that.
My band is going great guns at the moment with sniffage from a couple of labels.

My kit is:

Mapex M-Series - Maple Wood with custom crafted shells
2 Rack toms
1 floor tom
Chrome finished, maple snare

14" Paiste Nickel-Plated high-hats
20" Paiste Power Ride
17" Sabian AAX Hand-Bashed Metal Dark Crash (new toy)
18" Zildjian Tonal Crash
12" Paiste Splash
8" Paiste Splash

I love my kit and NOBODY uses it when we gig. There's always the "can we share kits?" thing but is met with a blank look and a quiet laugh.

Goatboy your a fellow drummer too eh?

My my, what a coincedence heh.:) Are you playing in a band?

Drumming is my main passion, I own a Pearl Export 97 series kit, and since I've had it since my 18th I've built it up by adding a Rack, Simmons SDX Pads, Alesis DM5 Sound Module, Sabian Cymbals, Pearl Powershifter Pedals. It's my pride and joy :)

That's what got me started on it.
And that's my nickname, not original but fitting.
Hit everything as hard as possible.
After 40 mins onstage, I'm sweating through my shirt and need water baaddd.

The price can be worrying, my kit (just what's called a shellpack, no cymbals or stands) cost me £600, along with cymbals that can set you back about £150 for a halfway decent one and you can be looking at a hefty tag.

But I'd recommend it to anyone.

Muse rocked before and they rock now. That's all that mattered, all that matters and all that ever will matter.

Drumming is cool. I nearly did it at one point... but the price of drums scare me.

You need real passion to play the drums as well... but I always think of drummers as Animal from the Muppets.
