I was listening to Radio 1 last night, and i heard Muse's Bliss and when the leader singer is singing it sounds a bit like the lyrics of Jeff Buckley's Grace!

Anybody Agree?

Yep.
I just love that old fashioned, monster kit sound.
The two tracks are ok, Mrs Jones is the better one, but the two that arent on there are the ones I love most.

Just checking yours out now

Cheers buddy :) Check your email :)

The old drum sound is quite nice, but I prefer a modern sounding kit y'know? Punchy Toms, EQ'd Kick, Highly-Tuned Snare :)

I cant stand Deftones, but he gets some good sounds from his kit.

I really, really prefer the big sounds of 70's rock music, huge beefy snares and kicks you can feel in your gut.

Although White Zombie "La Sexorcisto" has some good sounds.

Christ I love playing my music.

Rehearsals tomorrow

I gave the engineer the Deftones, 'White Pony' since I really liked the attack on the drums on that album.

Cool.
My influences?
Keith Moon and John Bonham.
Heavy hitters that pay little attention to where fills should be etc.
We spent over a day just miking the drums and getting the right sound in the studio, gave the engineer "Black Dog" by Zepplin until he got it.
Big, raw and pounding.

That's me.

Snuggly Monkey would be better, but that is what it isn't. Try harder. We rock!
