Robinson (Tottenham)
Green (Norwich)
James (Man City)

Neville (Everton)
Young (Charlton)
Bridge (Chelsea)
Konchesky (West Ham)
Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Terry (Chelsea)
Campbell (Arsenal)
King (Tottenham)

Beckham (Real Madrid)
Gerrard (Liverpool)
Lampard (Chelsea)
J Cole (Chelsea)
Wright-Phillips (Chelsea)
Jenas (Tottenham)
Smith (Man Utd)
Carrick (Tottenham)

Owen (Newcastle)
Rooney (Man Utd)
Defoe (Tottenham)
Crouch (Liverpool)

Bloody hell Sven, why do we have makeshift defensive midfielder Alan Smith in there instead of Scott Parker? Christ, that really, really irritates me. Seriously, what more can he do? He is vastly more talented in that position that Smith could ever hope to be.

He's been out of action since August. Might not be back till next year. Stress Fracture in his left foot.

No Carragher. This is an absolute absolute disgrace. Look at the differences in the squad. Bridge is in for Cole, I assume. So this can only mean that Carra has been dropped for Paul Konchesky. I mean, what the? That's a disgrace. As are Jenas instead of Parker and Crouch instead of anyone.

Another Sven thing on Sky Sports about Crouch. "I hope the crowd do not boo Crouch"

OK Sven - you're winning comfortably and the crowd decides to boo one of your own players. But only ONE of your players. This must tell you something. Maybe they don't think he offers something different. I now hate those two words. See his fluffed header against Villa? Free header, could've put it anywhere. But no, this tall target man can't do what he's there for. Git.

No Carragher = Disgrace. End of story.

Smith played outstandingly today and if he plays like that for England he deserves his place. Thing is it's only one match and he's not consistent but if he can get the team motivated like he did Man U against Chelsea it can only be a good thing for England.

If we're going on recent performances, he should be in there over Rio.

dunno how svens mind works but he might just be in the squad as there is always the option to use him up front as well.

Heres the Argentina squad

Roberto Abbondanzieri (Boca Juniors)
Leonardo Franco (Atletico Madrid)

Roberto Ayala (Valencia)
Diego Placente (Celta Vigo)
Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel (both Inter Milan)
Martin Demichelis (Bayern Munich)
Gabriel Milito (Real Zaragoza)
Fabricio Coloccini (Deportivo Coruna)
Sebastian Battaglia (Boca Juniors)

Juan Roman Riquelme, Juan Pablo Sorin (both Villarreal)
Esteban Cambiasso (Inter Milan)
Luis Gonzalez (Porto)
Mario Santana (Palermo)
Daniel Bilos (Boca Juniors)
Maxi Rodriguez (Atletico Madrid)

Hernan Crespo (Chelsea)
Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
Carlos Tevez (Corinthians)
Javier Saviola (Sevilla)
Julio Ricardo Cruz (Inter Milan)

Would love to see Messi take part.

Yeah, I know, I watched the game.

One performance shouldn't get him in the squad.
