The things which are, in the grand scheme of things, totally irrelevant, inconsequential and otherwise totally unimportant... but still manage to p!ss us off royally all the same.
Some of mine are...
* The way some Irish people say "filum" instead of "film".
* The (seemingly deliberate) mis-pronunciation of footballer's names by some commentators (e.g. David Pleat's "Rays" instead of "Reyes").
* Women who stand blocking narrow shop aisles with double buggies.
* OAPs who wait until they're on the bus before counting out their fare exactly, in 1p, 2p and 5p coins. And never seem to know the fare, despite making the same journey to bingo every day for the last 10 years.
Add your own!
- Having to sort the trash into 3 separate bins
- People who are experts on Americans and the way of life despite not actually living there in their lives and using places like Alabama and Arkansas to judge all of us.
- Women with pushchairs up town who use them as battering rams
- When you're walking down the street and you move over to give each other space which the person walking the opposite way takes as a sign to also move over and give you barely enough space to walk past without falling off the pavement
- Any compensation claim advert
- People sitting next to me on the bus when there are still seats without anyone on.
- Public transport and how no one seems to have considered that there are people above 5'10 and who have long legs.
- How those people with clipboards always come and try and stop me to do their little survey when i'm in town. They'd still make their way towards me if i was in the middle of about 500 people
- Parents who just let their little brats scream their head off while standing there smiling like a moron
- My girlfriend and how she squeezes the toothpaste tube in the middle
and a whole bunch of other stuff i can't remember as i've just woken up

Next time point out that it takes much longer to peel ssmaller potatoes, than a few bigger ones - mention surface area just to sound like a smart a***

Too true! How many hours of my life did i waste doing that stupid subject!
If the French were intelligent they would speak English.

Ditto. i agree there. I was really peeved off with year 11. All my mates, and not me, became prefects in year 11, which iwasn't too bothered about because I'd rather have lunch than stand at the door letting one kid in at a time to stop the queue building up whilst I starve and everyone else gets their food. But I did get the position of a peer counsillor, which meant I did do quite a bit of extra work compared to the normal student, and my particular "erank" still didn't mean that i could go into the village to have a nice lunch with my mates and had to stay in eating the crappy school food. i went to the Head about that - argued my case and won, so eventually I did get the nice lunch.
But then there's:
- New toilets replacing the 1960's style crappers at school, complete with toilet roll all over the ceiling from 1960.
- New D&T rooms. Nice ones with ventilation so you don't suffocate on sawedust
- New computer systems. They really rubbed that one in. I was the one who had to help set them up.
- French is now optional
- RPSE is now optional
That lot really pushes my eeve button.
