I really can't get into this at all. Tried to watch an episode last night, and it was just a bunch of models, some freaks (fat man and hobbit), and devil foreigners that have different ways. Why is it so popular?

Watched a load of this now, it's pretty damn slow going with seemingly only 2 main events per episode and a lot of naval-gazing (although thankfully the flashbacks break this up).

I think they've really screwed up trying to make the viewer feel any of the tension that there's supposed to be between various members of the group, threats are empty and sometimes it's laughable at how quick one character will threaten another.

Also there's some terrible sound choices where an actor will be saying "Who's there?" and they've added obvious animal sounds in the background as opposed to more subtle ones which makes the character look retarded in that they appear to mistake a boar's snorting for the sound of a human-being (unless it'd be the fat one out of Becker!).

Dumb but watchable (if only because the cliffhangers are actually welldone).

I haven't watched all the episodes but I still find it really good. Have they done Hurley's story yet?
