There is one thing that really annoys me, and that is poor argument technique. Jim of Honor, and indeed, many of the people in these forums know no way to argue other than to insult. Instead of debating the matter properly, you instead attack a person directly, implying they're inferior to you, poorly-educated or just plain stupid. This style of arguing gives the impression that you can't defend you viewpoint so you simply attack the other person. In a way, that means lopes has won. If you truly want to defend WWE or indeed anything else, why not actually talk about it, rather than your opponent's mental capacity.

One thing that does amuse me though with all these people other than their obvious ignorance and stupidity is how they say it's fake expecting that this news is going to shock us all and make us cry. What's the next piece of news lads? Santa's fake? (now he's real i know it) Take a trip to 1970 when this might actually be news.

We watch it for the skill and entertainment that the competitors provide (well that some provide anyway) we're not watching it thinking *oh wow that guy really socked him in the jaw, how's he still standing?*

We know it's scripted and we know punches are pulled, of course the landings and such are real and virtually all wrestling fans will say the same, the ones without brains won't though and i suggest going to argue with them as they'll be about on the same intellectual level as you.

What are you talking about? What a shame... another troglodyte to dispose of.

Are you disputing the idea that it's not safe to attempt wrestling at home? Because if so, I'd absolutely love to see you try a few of these moves in your living room:

Cop Killa,
Traditional piledriver,
Tombstone piledriver,
Kick to the face,
Curbstomp,
European uppercuts... there are many more. If you're still desperate for some HARDKORE< OMG!!!11THISIZREAL action, I'll be delighted to suggest others.

Ric Flair - the guy pulls his punches, is that what you're saying? A little grammar and punctuation goes a long way, my poorly-educated friend. But everyone pulls their punches if the aim is to put on a show - if they hit each IN THE FACE, there wouldn't be much of a fight or a show, would there? You want people hitting one another for real? Go watch some 15 second-long MMA bouts. You want a combat-based showing? Sit down, shut up and pay attention to wrestlers like Flair in his prime, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Samoa Joe, Kenta Kobashi and others.

So, your response to that?
