Get fit soon Simon Jones!
Hopefully England will still be attacking and go for the win rather than defend to try and get a draw, I think they're more likely to succeed this way.

If you're refering to "gooder", I know it isn't a word, but as long as you get the point I was making, everyone wins.
The weather may play a part in the match but it's unlikely to have much impact. Thursday is supposed to be rainless all day but Friday should be interrupted for most of the day with showers. At the minute Saturday - Monday are a bit uncertain but it looks like it should be ok so we should get a result, hopefully a draw or an England win!

No. Although I suddenly feel ignorent.

Can you not see the problems with that sentence?

I'm confused by this. Pietersen's first Test series was this one - He has no experience in big matches like these, but he did extremely well, putting on 60 odd in his first innings. Apart from the six catches he dropped, he has had a solid start.

Australia have to win the last Test match to retain the Ashes, to me logically, this means that batsmen are more important than wickets, as they would have to bowl us out and get more runs. If a bowler came into the team, he may get some wickets, but get out or not make any runs - England need all the runs they can get.

I strongly disagree. He has been bowling all over the place on recent form, especially in 20/20 cricket, he is no where near accurate or consistant enough to bowl in a Test match.
