England squad:

Michael Vaughan (captain)
James Anderson
Ian Bell
Paul Collingwood
Andrew Flintoff
Ashley Giles
Stephen Harmison
Matthew Hoggard
Geraint Jones
Simon Jones
Kevin Pietersen
Andrew Strauss
Marcus Trescothick

Get fit soon Simon Jones!

Hopefully England will still be attacking and go for the win rather than defend to try and get a draw, I think they're more likely to succeed this way.

Twas pretty disappointing that! A brilliant four followed by being bowled out. Still Giles is going well and Hoggard is, erm, surviving which is still useful. It just feels like a matter of time now though (although that's a silly thing to say since it always is...).

Its suppose to rain this afty and tommorow but fine sunday/monday, it's gonna be touch and go whether or not anyone wins this test, it's a good thing England won the last one.

Let's hope! It was a shame Collingwood didn't survive longer and when we lost Strauss things looked like they were nearing a close, but perhaps if Jones and Giles can make it through the first half hour of the morning, they might be able to put on a few more runs, maybe make 350 or 360. I can't honestly see them making 400 though, the England tail just doesn't have the same power as the Australian one.

We should have brought in Hargreaves for Jones. He's a hero.

Mmhmm, Alec is slightly worried.

I'm banking on the last 3 wickets being lost quickly tomorrow....I do however hope that I am prooved wrong.

The Aussies have the team to be able to score many runs, and fast. And time is of the essence in this test. Players like Clarke and even Warne lower down are all capable of big scores, and let's not forget the top 3 all have a big innings due them. I can see them scoring over 400, and if Warne bowls like he did today, then we're in real trouble.

I'm just hoping for 4 days of rain.

Collingwood only made seven runs. I still think it was the right decision though. Well done to Strauss and Flintoff. Can't wait until tomorrow.

If we get more than 400 we will not lose the test match, there's not enough time and you have also got to consider rain.

Hmmmm a solid start but hardly ground breaking...

Warne is the only Aussie playing by the looks of it.

Of course the more England play the less time Australia have.
