England squad:

Michael Vaughan (captain)
James Anderson
Ian Bell
Paul Collingwood
Andrew Flintoff
Ashley Giles
Stephen Harmison
Matthew Hoggard
Geraint Jones
Simon Jones
Kevin Pietersen
Andrew Strauss
Marcus Trescothick

Get fit soon Simon Jones!

Hopefully England will still be attacking and go for the win rather than defend to try and get a draw, I think they're more likely to succeed this way.

Good start by England but they need to try and get somewhere near to 400 to put the Aussies under more pressure. With the top 7 gone it's just the tailenders left so hopefully they can manage to bat for a couple of hours tomorrow morning to get us somewhere near.

Warne is looking deadly with 5 wickets so far and there will be more to come before the match is over. Hopefully he'll not be as good with the bat.

The weather isn't looking too bad theres expected to be showers tomorrow and Saturday but Sunday and Monday are looking ok at the minute so a result is looking likely and hopefully it'll be Englands!

But can bat twice as good as Anderson?

I suppose his nylon covered podgy thighs rubbing together would create a lot of friction!

Oh dear... Trescothick, Vaughan, Bell all down and all to Warne (though on the plus side, that gives Warne a good chance of getting the 167 record for test wickets at the Ashes).
