Anyway, I got to remembering some of the good times while bored at work today (a regular occurence) and yeah, it might be a bit sad, but some of the memories really did make me smile. UKchatforums.com must be my most visited website ever (still my homepage) and despite it just being a collection of poorly-designed .gif images and text-speak, sometimes it genuinely manages to make me laugh out loud (LOL).
So... in the spirit of one of my Shiznit lists, I want your top UKchatforums.com moments of all time, from throughout history - it can be favourite users, brilliant moments of realisation or just your favourite threads. I'll get us kicked off with a few memories that brightened up my day.
THE BELLDANDY SAGA - I've never had so much fun berating someone over the internet as I did with Belldandy. Probably still floating around somewhere under a newly mysterious (very probably Manga-related) username, Belldandy was NEVER WRONG. Even if he was, he wasn't. And if he really was, then he'd run away and not come out to play, until the next time he was wrong. It came close to bullying at a few points (I used to get his emails) but it was coming from both sides: Goaty, Light, Pandy, myself and others (all anti-war and common sense) versus the one man righteous army of Belldandy.
The Belldandy saga reached a hilarious conclusion, when on one of his many mysterious reappearances under another nick (HALO Fan), he was sussed by the lot of us and nevertheless proceeded to dispute it for several months, despite have all the curt mannerisms and blind flag-wankery that good old Bell had. It stopped being fun when we finally saw a picture of him on Special Observe, then realised our physical name calling was disturbingly prophetic.
There have been others, but none as more fun to bait as Belldandy.
Bit of a spammer, total moron, and despite stalking me on the forums, when he finally got my MSN address he always had a go at me. Actually, sounds like all stalkers to me. He didn't track me down like Snuggers' biggest fan, mind, which was good.
I think he got banned eventually.

Sniper changed his name to The IronFlame but he's now a regular instead of a notable. If he's changed it again I wouldn't know, but just look out for Arsenal related taglines.
[edit] Will teach me to refresh before posting.
Sniper changed his name to The-IronFlame a long while back and was demoted from Notable status last election.
I remember FM living at home and not working, which was crazy, because he was a genius. I remember him and Sonic Rav talking about advanced Mathematics, or something.
I remember er-no being an emotional wreck over some girl. I wonder how he is. Sniper I haven't seen for AGES, unless he's changed his name.
Venombyte, Turbonutter... there's a few people I don't see anymore.
I remember Turbonutters 1Gig+ collection of pr0n!!!""£(!) Crazy.
I was a bit of a Ninty fan, now I own all three (consoles) and rarely touch my 'Cube.
Ah, the good old days.
What do you mean 'I was that mutant'?
And Fogmaster, I remember him! He was a Ninty along with Dringo, Edgy etc. I used to argue way too much with them...
Did FM ever accomplish his dream of collecting every Dreamcast game, ever?
It was hilarious, about twenty of us were all sat around with 2 or 3 windows open, constantly refreshing to see how many posts there had been. And in one window we all had a message written out, and as soon as we saw 9,999 we all instantly hit post!
Then we all furiously checked and argued who had won, before it became clear that I had got it...just. Easiest free game ever, apart from Delta Force 2, which Goaty sent to me because he didn't like it, I think.
By the way Goaty, I thought the game was arite but my Dad loved it, he played it non-stop until Black Hawk Down was released.
Damn Meka...reading through these stories is gonna use up all my free time tonight.
I really did used to be a bit of an idiot...I guess I was about 14 though, no wonder I kept losing the plot in that Star Wars story.
{:) "ONCE YOU POP, YOU CAN'T STOP!!" CLASSIQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for reading, Ant.
EDIT - I think it's awesome how the Star Wars story didn't even begin as a story as such. I carried it on to get more info on Star Wars game, FM took it off on a tangent and it just went on from there...
EDIT EDIT - I just came across a part of the story which completely confused me...because me and Grix had posted at the same time. Didn't have the old "users currently online" feature in those days, and to be honest we had no idea when others were posting and so we often wrote over each-other's plotlines. Still funny, though. :D
I'm amazed I managed to win, then.
Eventually even my hated spoofs started to win me prizes (though one win was wasted on membership, I've always kept it up to date since then... though that was June 2002) How the time flies.
I just checked and I haven't won GAD since Feb 2004, with my GAD Men post. Those were the days...
