I enjoyed it too.

Warping has been in every Zelda game.

That was far from essential.

The tri-force search was a tad dull... but it was a small part of the game.

It got really really good when you reached the temple under the sea. I really loved that.

Nah, stealing a mobolins sword and watch their jaws drop, panic and run was priceless. Really made me laugh. The Elvis impersonator was comic genius as was that girl who fell in love with a Mobolin. Was the comedy Zelda game.

Ah yes they are classics. The Wind Waker had a few down points but the strong points were very strong.

Yes the animation was brilliant and so was the control system. Very very good.

I don't agree that it's a low blow to not be happy with any game which needs you to own a completely seperate console, including a link cable to do everything possible in the game, which according to your logic is the whole point of having a Zelda game.

That's something I completely agree with, by the way, and the reason why the sailing getting so boring that made the game eventually monotenous to play. If I had rushed through the game from beginning to end without trying to do everything (like taking photos and going back to the photo lab place), I'd probably have enjoyed the game and not gotten so bored with it :D.

Heh, I completely agree, I've got Vice City on PC and the controls are a lot better than on PS2. Some people at my school think that console controls for shooters are better than mouse and keyboard for FPSs.

'Finding', sorry.

Also, the treasure was all part of the experience. If you're impatient and want to get to the end of the game and on to the next one, then fine. but I strongly feel that Wind Waker was a game to be savoured and everyone should take time over it.

Also, the GBA (Tingle) stuff was just an extra. You didn't need another zelda game for the GBA, it was a FREE unlock for people who just happened to have a GBA. It was thoughtful, clever and a nice addition... not to mention a testament to the effort and dedication that went into the game to make it a success. Complaining about a freebie is a low blow, there, laddy! :)

I 100% agree.. kind of. For me, Snake Eater us untouchable. I've never seen better animation in any game ever. Everything flowed so smoothly, it was 'real'. I could never got over that - especially seeing as it was all in-game. Absolute genius. That Kojima Productions team are worth their salary and then some!

That already had a target on consoles from what I hear.

I'm talking about the double pack games not having targets (which is why I've mainly commented on GTA 3's lack of a target).

What's the point in leaving a target out of GTA 3 and Vice City* on consoles then? :S

Or were you talking about GTA:SA?

*Heard that there isn't one, I've yet to get around to playing it.

And at somepoint I'll get it, but I want to get my money's worth out of the double pack first.
