Internet connection in campus rooms at York, yay or nay? Also what speed is it? I've heard rumors that the only connection available is dial-up and only in a few rooms? Surely not? There is some mention to connection to the web through the York network, I'm assuming this is the connection most people used while in halls?

Just wondering, since I cant lug all my weights from my house and I can't find any info about it anywhere what are the gym facilities like at the Uni? What sort of price do you have to pay etc? I assume they'll be promos in Freshers week and whatnot. Any info would be welcome...

My mate got into Goodriche A block, whilst not the greatest, at least it isnt the C block. Since my post doesnt come till the afternoon I have a bit more waiting to do...

Don't take a car to York, they charge you £3 a day parking fee. If you're lucky.

Have no intention of getting a car for a while, what with Uni coming up etc. Tho as long as i'm insured in my dad's I can take it out when he's not at work :D
