It's not that bad is it? Tell me it's not, cus you're making me worry...
We get a connection in the room which you slap a co-axial into and get a beautiful picture.

OH feck.
It's not so much the distance that bothers me, I can deal with that. But its the potential idea of having people around me that wouldnt want to make friends with me :P Surely a few british people get in there as well?
Blank is indeed weedy, but he's learnt to develop his brain instead, like some Marvel superhero. Yup, anyway, the gym at York is split. The CV section is in the main sports centre is pretty small with 3 treadmills, 2 crosstrainers, 4 rowing machines, some exercise bikes and regular doses spandexy lady goodness. But sometimes not. It'll cost you £25 a term to bathe in their constant playing of The Hits on the TVs there.
Over in some dank hole by Derwent in the weights gym. It was last updated in 1970 (Seriously, I'm not kidding, it was around then) and is a dusty hellhole, but the weights do the job and there's a punching bag, which angree people hit. It'll cost you nearly nothing (£12, I think) for a years subscription. But here's my advice, kids. It's a swipe card thing to get in, so just hope one of your friends is a member and go with him.
Fairfax House - sorry, Tommo, but you've drawn the short straw. It's a bigass house on the way to town, completely seperated from the rest of campus. But you knew that. They stick a lot of foreign students in there, so I hear, never actually having set foot in there. But I guess you get a good community spirit or whatever they call it in there.
TV reception in James is awful too, I'm considering a cheapo Freeview box so I can get Sky Sports News.
Any other questions?
Edit: Oh, and my beloved Vanburgh pool table in on main campus. You'll be scuppered by having to go back to your halfway house. Ohohohohoh.
Be strong.
I'm in non-university accommodation this year though, so hopefully I'll get a decent signal. I have a double bed too. It's a shame I'm not trying to hide an immigrant family, in many ways. In others I'm glad.
Anyway, I was in Goodricke D Block, all the rooms had/have net connections. Broadband, 10 megs or whatever. Something large. But then, a lot of people use it.
Never been to the gym, too weedy. Vicious circle I suppose.
