You take that back.

I hate that little scouse Shrek too, but I can't deny that he's got talent. Bags of talent. I reckon if him and Ronaldinho compared how many bags of talent they had, Rooney would scrape it. And if he didn't, Rooney would steal his hubcaps. Simple.

Oooooh handbags, no need to get a bit testy love. :-D

Well blow me, but I thought you might be intelligent enough to realise that I was being a teensy bit over the top when I demanded Heskey be called up to the England squad.
But he's still good. I'd rather him than someone I genuinely hate, like Rooney.

Exactly. Makes no sense. Henry make shy away against big teams, but when the pressure's on, he slots them in. Yes, he's not English, but that's irrelevant. It's the different between a good and a great striker - those who can put them in under pressure and those who can only do it when it doesn't matter.
> He scored against Germany. :P
Everyone did in that game didn't they? The fat bloke from the Gun and Barrel got on the scoresheet as well i think :-D

So he doesn't do well under pressure so let's call him up to the England squad? A team which has huge expectations heaped onto its shoulders every time they step out onto the pitch. Wha?

So yeah, you want a striker who'll bang them in all season but fails when push comes to shove? I'm sure that's what Brum want when they're aiming for Europe, innit?
> Yeah, doesn't every leg bend in 4 places? :)
It's all a matter of practice, innit? That Busst at Coventry had it down to a tee a couple of years back...
I'm not sure Owen would have prospered so much in front of goal without Heskey. But admittedly he was sometimes disappointing for England, but it's all about pressure.
Liverpool - under pressure. Works hard, but doesn't score as many as he could.
England - Under huge pressure, obviously, and only seemed to score when England were already at least 2 goals up and had the game in the bag.
Birmingham - Are crap, and have annoying fans. No pressure, and is a goal machine.

He had a game against a small team called Germany where he did something resembling playing well, but I think a little man called Owen stole that show.
