So, what do you guys think of them? I got their first album, pretty awsome. If you don't know who they are, they're the band with three former GNR members and 2 other people.

There's no point comparing G 'n' R with Metallica, they're completely different styles of music, like comparing the Sex Pistols with Green Day.

Although the Sex Pistols are much better. ;-).

Yeah, and Noel Gallacher and Slash are so similar.

The new Oasis stuff is dire, although their old music was good.

Haha, but what you said made so much sense...

All I meant by my original Noel Galagher post is that millions of people love Oasis because they make great music. Nobody looks at the guitarist, they just like the whole band. It really doesnt matter if you play a solo at speed of 20 notes per second or if you just strum a few basic chords on an acoustic. What matters is the overall performance of the band as a whole.

You can't compare Noel Gallagher to Yngwie anyway, they're totally different.
