That is bad for Dudek because im sure he would have wanted to play in the champions league and save all of liverpool's penalty's. I think rafa would still play reina even when dudek gets back fit. Do you recon Dudek will go in the transfers? Lots of clubs would love to sign him because he aint to bad but now he can say he won the chapions league>

Dudek's there. He's out for 3 months with a broken elbow, and he'll be fit just in time for the January transfer window. Buh-bye, Jerzy.

Kirkland looked good against man city and saved some good ones but it will be hard for him at west brom because they could be fighting relegation (i dont think they will though) but west brom do seem to let in the odd goal. It would be funny if kirkland keeps more clean sheets than Robinson though sven would have robinson in goal even if that was the matter.

Certainly would, if he can keep his injuries under control. He's always been great, and he's a damn sight better than Paul "Fat Men Can't Wear Kappa" Robinson.

But he'll never play. Rafa will ALWAYS ALWAYS favour the Spanish option, and we have Reina is goal. To be fair, he's supposed to be awesome, but I haven't seen much of him yet, and he flapped at a few crosses versus Boro.

Even if Kirkland does come back, he's got to fight with Carson for 2nd choice, and I reckon he'd probably lose. Carson shows all the signs of being a great goalkeeper. People will mention his screw-up to let Juve back into the quarter-final, but somehow fail to mention he saved a shot from Del Piero in the same match that Cech or Buffon would be proud of.

I think Kirkland has to move on. It'll be better for him and it'd mean England would finally have a decent goalkeeper....Until Carson graduates from the U21's, and cements his rightful #1 shirt.

Stryke do you still like Kirkland eventhough he went to West Brom on loan i think?

Scott Carson was asked to be England's #1, but he refused because he felt a sense of duty to his U21 teammates, unlike that dirty traitor Darren Bent.

There shall be no Hargreaves-bashing. Out of the Carrick/Jenas/Parker bench midfielders, he's the only one that looks elegant on the ball and gets regular Champions League football. And he looked good at World Cup 2002.
