Another thread on Mikey, true. But I have to keep my hopes up. Losing my favourite 'Pool striker is a blow that can only be softened with the return of the only 'Pool player I have loved more than him. Mikey is on his way back - that's what The Times seems to think:

Read that in my paper this morning before my run, and then amused myself by thinking of Mikey while running (not in a gay way).

Well kezman got something like 43 in one season at Eidhoven and look how he did at chelsea?? Just beacuse they're good in holland dosen't mean they'll be good in the premiership, due to the superior calibre of the players in england :s

I've criticised Milan for the boring way they go about winning stuff despite having exciting attacking players, and I'm not going to become a hypocrite just because it's my team winning stuff the boring way. That's the answer I give to people who say that I can't be a Liverpool fan and disapprove of the manager.

I'm starting to see things your way Stryke... he has one of the most exciting teams in the premiership but he just sooooo boring.

But he won't lose his job after bringing home the European title.

I think the chairman is going to go over Benitez' head and bring Owen to the club himself.

The Echo does come up with some stunningly misleading crap at times.

But I'd love to have someone Portguese at Anfield, and Meira is a solid defender.

And that stuff about Mikey haggling about wages and wanting Stevie-wages is rubbish, I betcha. He's on £65,000 a week at Real, and 'Pool would gladly give him that. Not that'll he come.

Oh, yeah, and wanting Kuyt (make that ANYONE) ahead of Mikey? Remove Kop from thy name.
