Read that in my paper this morning before my run, and then amused myself by thinking of Mikey while running (not in a gay way).
Stevie says he'll talk to him in the England training camp. No-one can turn down Stevie. No man, no woman.
He has got himself in a right pickle, he will not want to stay at Real and not play much football world Cup year, he will not want to join Newcastle and be part of an average team that might just sneak into the Uefa Cup if they are lucky. And cannot see Liverpool etc paying that sort of money to buy him.
Of course Real have a similar problem in that they do not really need him and cannot force him to go to a club that he does not want to join no matter how much they offer, would not be surprised to see him join Liverpool next week for about £10m

Oh yeah forgot him! Have to see if Edgar can do the biz for spurs as well.

I think they are a non starter as well, because thye are likely to be out of Europe after tonight.
I assume the option of him going to Liverpool on loan is a non-starter as far as Real are concerned. This is probably why Newcastle have had to made a large bid for him.
